It went very well, very well indeed. Dave MacCreedy did a excellent welcoming speech. Simon (Weston) then gave a very emotional address. We then played the video which incidentally is on the Sun's website.

http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,11021-10043,00.html

(Click on the list of video's the one that says "Brothers in Arms")

You will have seen the coverage in the Sun who are running 2 stories a day and giving it large on their website. The downside is that none of the other papers will give much coverage to a Sun campaign.

TV on Friday / Monday to be confirmed and

A lot of the lads turned up: Colin Buchanan from Daziel & Pascoe who has been there all along helping out. BFBS were making a 30 minute documentary on the release and they were there in force with their cameras as were Channel 5 and Sky News.

Of the Veterans, there was a fair mix:

3 ex Para's: Jim Bush (PT instructor from Bad Lads Army)
Denzil Connick who lost use of his legs on Mount Longdon
Dave Brown - Goose Green veteran

The Welsh guards were out in force with Simon of course along with Curly Jones, Tony Fish and who commanded Diana's burial party.

In addition there were several former Royal Marines including General Julian Thompson who commanded the land operation along with a couple of Sailors there to support the cause. All were interviewed copiously by the press.

Early reports show that the downloads are selling well. It's the top seller on Virgin Digital no reports available from the others yet. CD's are available from http://www.Falklands25.com

It's been a lot more stressful to get of the ground than the Monkeyhangerz CD for sure but then there is an awful lot more riding on it.

Been onto iTunes Store, and was a bit surprised to find it wasn't on their front page - it's not hard to find if you know what to look for admittedly, but nevertheless a little disappointing.....

iTunes haven't got mad for sure, but Virgin Digital have featured it.
