Am I the only one who has looked at the teams potentially dropping out and those promoted into the conference?

At the top of the Northern Conference we have Barrow and potentially someone like Guiseley up in the play-offs.
There are quite a few long journey's in there but we also have some decent trips with Gateshead, Grimsby, Macclesfield, Halifax, Lincoln, Chester, Altringham and Southport.

We could be getting Carlisle or York down with us as well which wouldn't be bad.

Some might even decide they want to take in the bright lights of Braintree or Forest Green.

I'm trying to be positive so I might get to try one of Kiddermister's fantastic pies again

Forest green could potentially replace us this year there on a bit of a role. Some interesting places to go to next year but they will only be interesting if we have a decentish team to follow otherwise the draw of new places will soon wear of. At least we will get some live matches on tv next year.

Some of the attendances in the Conference on Saturday were appalling, we'd of had the second highest. Quite a few were under a thousand.

Alfreton Town is close by me, though I was rather hoping they may go down, a tidy ground and easy parking.

I'm hoping North Ferriby get their act together and get promoted from Conference North, only down the road from me.

It'll have to be some late run mind. I don't mind as long its not one of the 'northern' teams like Gloucester or Oxford City who come up. Never mind fans travelling there but its not fair on their fans to class them as a northern team

I've just looked at the Conference table. Fifth top already on 65 points. Those top five teams are flying.

And the bottom 4 are sinking like stones. The fact I know that show's where I've been looking at the table in view of where Pools are going to be competing.

They were bloody dreadful on Saturday Wommers, the ball was picked up on radar every time North Ferriby launched it forward. Lowestoft tried to play football at least.

Think they have Wembley in mind rather than the league

Barrow is a bigger version of Port Clarence
