Why are we scraping the bottom of the barrel with shite signings when we have a player with a lot of potential out on loan!!
I always thought he did ok when he played, better than a lot of the gutless fuckers that played yesterday.
Can we not recall him ? He must be at least worth a place on the bench.

He still trains with pools while on loan at spennymoor and he did get injured with us so missed a couple of games for them, back playing now though. If you look on there twitter updates, most things good they seem to be doing revolve around him.

I do remember seeing Moore saying he was loaning him out because he liked him but he didn't feel he was right for us now so get some games and experience. We're dead and buried so he might as well get that chance with us

We down now so the young lads should be given a chance to prove themselves.
If i was manager the players who are getting released wouldnt play again this season.

Maybe Moore is planning for the future with us down. If he shows any young talent they may be snapped up for peanuts or to line kens pockets.

He may think sending Hawkins out on loan to give him the game time in preparation to build a team around him, Harrison, Fenwick n a team of kids. Maybe making the spineless twats that currently wear the shirt suffer by not getting another club as it's clear to everyone how bad they actually are.

From what I've seen Hawkins is not the answer and isn't of league quality - yet.

Have to agree, but he hasnt been given a real chance. If we are going to get beat week in week out why not play Hawkins rather than getting players on loan like the little lad from Boro?

I reckon he has more of a chance than that lad who played from the Boro yesterday, who being honest was fucking dreadful, embarrassingly lightweight.

I take it you weren't there for the 1st half?

Yes.

Can't remember him beating a man, he got eased off the ball time and time again. I thought he was really poor. He probably saw more of the ball but he didn't exactly provide any quality. Did he create a single goal scoring opportunity?

I thought Jones was our best player 1st half to be honest.
Beat his man a few times and hit good crosses into the box.
Compare that to Compton who managed to produce absolutely nothing.

Personally Jones was dreadful as well! He couldn't beat his man, couldn't cross the ball and for the life of me can't see why he didn't take some initiative and take a corner earlier when Compton was cocking up instead of waving him over to take it when Compton had stayed away in the first half.

Austin and Featherstone have gotten a lot of stick on here for their part in the Burton goal; people want to remember there was three players around the guy on the half way line and Jones was in the best position of the three to clip his heels but no, he just jogged back and didn't look interested.

Compton by no means had a good game but he has that cocky arrogance about him where he can spark into life at any time and I never saw that with Jones. I don't think he is any better than what we have already got

the phrase our best player isn't exactly saying much...full team was abysmal.

plus you say 1st half, did he not come out 2nd half because it didn't seem like it

Like Duckworth, doesn't seem to be the sort of player the new manager likes. I'm mystified by him being sent out on loan, he played the full game the last time we won an away match I believe.

Mustn't be ticking the right boxes.

Poor man management by Moore. He comes in and tells Duckworth to not cross the half way line in his first game. Then tells him he can't defend. Way to make a lad feel good about himself.

He also said in the Mail he would fine him, unless he had injured himself in bed that morning or something. How about finding out first before talking to the media about fining someone? Or just keeping it inhouse?

Fair play to him if he did injure himself in bed
