come on, lets have a ticket deal on for our 2 saturday home games, Wimbledon and Burton, lets get a decent crowd and atmosphere for 2 massive games which could be our last throw of the dice.

The last ticket deal was under the belief we had new owners.

The next one will be ior hodcroft and green.

Big difference.

regardless of ownership, still games that will determine our future as a league club, which is what we all care about, whether IOR care enough is another matter, just thinking these 2 home games, plus Dageham away could be our last chance, or maybe im just clutching at straws.

Sort the ticket prices out ior.
Having an extra 1000 to 1500 can be like having a goal start.

Surprised they haven't . all they need to do is drop the terrace price then they can still fleece the away support if they need the money so much..

Make the last 6 home games £10 a ticket, get as many fans in as possible, for our final run in, surely its worth a go for 6 crucial games and our future as a league club.

They would make more money if it was cheaper which makes it even more bizarre they won't do it

They havent got a clue.
The FANS could run the club better i,m sure theres someone capeable of balancing the books and attracting sponsorship.
Especially with FFP its not rocket science you dont give 2 year contracts out to has-beens for a start!

They has to be an element of the chairman backing the managers judgement. That the then managers judgement turned out to be very bad has been catastrophic for the club.
When Cooper was unveiled as manager, many fans thought it could turn out to be a good appointment, as we all know it turned out to be far from good. Hindsight is a great gift. When signing big name players, 2 year contracts would likely have been needed to be offered as incentive to attract these 'better' players.

Hopefully in the future whom ever is running the club can avoid such errors of judgement

Well looks like we playing the season out in front of 3000 crowds.
£25 for a team bottom of the league its cheaper to get in newcastle and some other premier league grounds.
I wouldnt be surprised if they kept the prices the same for the conference!

They should make it £1.00 to get in then there would be at least another 4,000 turn up just to see if we really are this bad! :angry-screaming:

i would like to put that simple question to Russ and Ken, why won't you reduce prices for the last 6 home games, and the extra revenue from away fans is not an answer as the followings are very small anyway and the fact that its £25 must put away fans off anyway

How about free admission but pay to get out!!! If you leave before half time £25, if you leave during the second half £15 and if you stay till full time £5.

Why would they reduce the ticket price? Potential of less revenue and, I'd imagine additional policing, staffing costs, etc (in line with increased fans).

The club is worth very little now in terms of saleable assets, so won't reduce much if sold whilst in the conference.

They'll take whatever money they can now with as little effort and financial risk as possible.

how the hell would there be lost revenue, there's next to no one paying at the gate, and the extra fans that did turn up, would surely increase sales of drink, food, lottery tickets, programmes etc.

Away fans who can't be bothered to come and watch the bottom team regardless of saving £10? Pools fans who are fed up with the club and have found other things to do on a Saturday? Half of the extra fans who do come using their mates season ticket?

From the perspective of the leeches running our club he sadly has a point.

So how will that lose revenue? If the away fans weren't coming anyway we've lost nothing. If the home fans weren't coming anyway we've lost nothing. I would guess that at the current rate there are less than 200 paying on the door in the pools end, probably much less.

The leeches would have to put a few more stewards on open a few more turnstiles and order a few more pies and foot longs. They're happy running down the club at this current level, they only reduced prices for the last two games last season when they were completely bricking it about relegation and losing money out of the pot. Relegation is nailed on now, they don't need to do it.

I laughed when a guy I know who's coming up for the T&W derby asked me if I would buy him a ticket in advance for Southend game on Easter Monday. I told him that 5k would be a bloody good crowd so he needn't worry about being locked out!

Seriously though, the potential bigger crowds through reduced prices won't bring much extra revenue by the time you pay for extra stewards, turnstile operators & police. If we get a crowd close to 4k between now and end of the season then I'd be surprised, only game possible for bumper crowd is Exeter if were really still fighting to stay up.

surely in our position reducing prices is about getting a bigger crowd to help the team rather than thinking about increasing revenue, we are on the brink of loosing our league status for god sake

That's how most clubs would see it; bigger crowd getting behind the players and potentially picking up some points. IOR on the other hand are more concerned with the £££'s.

I was talking to someone on Thursday who was a regular but could never afford a season ticket.... he admits he simply can't afford to go. The club have excluded the floating supporter and have to be exceedingly dumb not to realise the outcome of their actions.

Now 99% of our fans have finally excepted relegation surely its time to turn on ior for the rest of the season.
If we do nothing its just encouraging them to stay for another season. The RETAINED LIST will be a good guage to which direction next season will go. If hodcroft n green do that list again another RELEGATION is nailed on.

Quite a few fans come on here earlier in the season and mocked the protesters. Some fans unbeliveably saying give ior a chance in the january window well thats gone with our dreams of remaining a football league club

IOR OUT
IOR OUT
IOR OUT
IOR OUT!
