In all fairness despite who is the better player or not. If Walton was in our midfield yesterday the result would not of been any different. He wouldn't of offered us anything that would of made a difference in the game as the forwards couldn't hold on to the ball.

I'm not sure Wes Brown would of made a difference either.

I didnt mind wes brown me, wasnt ellish but done a decent job, 2 champs league medals and about a gazillion league titles, i wouldnt mind being shit with that medal haul like.

Personally I think our biggest problem on Saturday was our formation. It was clear to see after the first 20 minutes they where running through the middle relatively unchallenged. Bates would have been very useful and had he been fit and we played 433 it could have been move even for me.

I really like Moore but the one big disappointment for me is his substitutions. He left it far to long to make his final change when the game was out of reach.
