If he is being released by Plymouth, what gives Sheridan the right to say he can't play against them, surely he will have severed all ties with the club ?

Suppose its very similar to putting a clause in someones contract, like a condition they stipulated on agreement they'd release him... we'll see if it transpires, seeing as he has spent his whole career reet down sarf, its odd he'd come this far north, especially as he has other business interests
