The way I see it IOR for want ever reason decided about 4/5 years ago they'd had enough, they then started formulating the retained list purely on reducing the annual budget and not on players ability (I think we all worked this out ages ago, right?). I think most of you would agree with this as a fact, yes?. Then a list of managers have tried to do the best with what they've had with a little bit of scope to use the loan system and bottom of the barrel signings and I think it's fair to say every single manager brought in has failed right? Some have done better than others but all have been put into a no win situation (that wasn't meant to be a pun by the way) then IOR have got rid of then. We've all seen the pattern, IOR select a new Manager then 100% do not support them financially.
This situation we're in has took years to get this bad. It hasn't happened over night yet certain people posting on this site thing you should be able to flick a switch and put it all right it can't and Will not happen.
Over the Christmas period we got gates of 4000+ we lose a game then people shot the towel in (i stress not everyone) Let's give Ronnie Moore a chance his trying to persuade players to come uhere I can't imagine what he's got to offer. We need experienced players let support him come on if you care support him.
I no everybody who post on this site care and we are all frustrated over the situation we're in but I stress again let's turn up in numbers and vocally support the team.

Of course we havent, but thats no reason to be negative.

We havent increased the squad size either, but that no reason either.

Its all good.

We need wins and that means we need goals. Seems to me that Ronnie Moore has instilled a bit of fight and is organising us better. That is making us harder to beat but he'll need to spend on either big loan wages or a fee to get a goal scorer in. It's probably too late anyway but to have any chance at all of staying up we need to be winning any matches where we keep the opposition down to scoring one. That won't happen with the current strikers.

I'm not posting much after matches because, as an exile, there is nothing much to say when a season is as unutterably shite as this one. I still can't quite believe that after all the struggles over the years we're just going to slide out of the league without even making a fight of it. Being realistic it looks that way though and discussing it in detail while it happens just makes it worse. I agree that it always best to support the team when you're at the match but delusional, over-optimistic posting on message boards is a bit pointless.

Are we fuck shagged. Get a grip.

If we had turned our first half domination into points we would be 5 short of the play off now.

We are THAT close.

jesus wept man, see the bigger picture please.

I hate pessimists me. I mean it's not as if we're cast adrift at the bottom of the Football League with a worse goal difference than San Marino is it? I mean FFS we don't even need snookers yet to get out of this that stage is AT LEAST a fortnight away you miserable gets.

It's not even as if the manager is in the paper saying we are going to try and do something we've not even tried yet this season and get some kids in on loan because nobody else will come.

I mean Christ it's not the case at all either that we know as much about the new owners as the day they took over or anything, I mean if that was the case I'd understand people being a bit down in the dumps.

Cheer up and get behind the lads these are great days to be a Poolie. Now where did I put my smoking crack pipe?

Totally agree. And in Ronnie we have a proven winner, who is getting the best out of the players now, and his half time team talks are said to be inspirational.

Its all good, and the negativity is just appalling.

But the owners said they were going to get the fans involved again. Don't you feel more involved?

At least with the new owners there's a tiny glimmer of hope that they might come good, whereas with IOR it was only going downhill. I'm not holding my breath any longer though as it's over a month since they took over now and we've only 3 loanees to show for it and barely any more communication than the previous supreme leader graced us with.

All they need to do is be open with the fans, whether it's due to league rules they can't spend or if the money is simply not there.

I agree. Just telling the fans something, even a few greenisms, will automatically get us another 20 points.

Like I said, I dont get the negativity.

With Russ at the helm and Ronnie in the dressing room, we are in safe hands. I know they are both workinh hard behind the scenes to tell us all how good its going to be.

Give them time. We are on the up.

and the other good thing. There are only 12 more days of the window open. So looking more and more likely that we wont lose any players. Got to be good surely?

Dont wory guys, the chairman said in his programme notes that talks with the Council over selling the ground had went well. We need to sort important issues like these etc first before we bother with trying to save the club dropping out of the League.

And he clearly wants to communicate as he has no problems talking to the Council.

Wow. And this is before ownership has even been ratified.

How good is that eh?

And people still try and be negative.

This is nothing like the same owners different name at all.

Its all good.

Where did it come from that ownership hadn't been approved from the league, or that we're under embargo?

We can't be under an embargo because you can't sign loan players when under a transfer embargo.

People are making assumptions, that happens when the owners don't communicate with the fans. They said the day they took over that Moore had money to spend and that the number one priority was keeping our league status. Neither of those two things appears to be the case.

Oh behave.

In TMH Ltd we trust.

And I suggest we have all sing songs praising the new owners next home game.

Can we have a list of their names please?

Just for song singing purposes.

Now behave, and celebrate this joyous period.

I agree with those ITB. Russ Green is a legend, he loves the club and is in no way responsible for the shitfest that went on before. He is only responsible for the good times now.

A top man, doing a very good job as CEO. Its all good.

From what Im told we have had to be given special approval in order to sign the loan players that we have. We technically are not meant to be able to sign anyone, whether it be permanent or loans.

Apparently Ken had to approve the recent loans and vouch for the right funds being made available for wage contributions etc as technically he is stil in charge until the 'fit and proper' checks have been concluded.

We could be mathematically relegated by the time it all gets approved.

see. ALL is clear.

Its gonna be wonderful.

Now calm down and party.

Lets get the Fancy dress organised for Carlisle.

Why not make it a weekender in Scotland?

Its the least we can for these players and club officials that have given their all for the cause this season.

And it would be brilliant to all dressed up on the day we play our last ever league game.

Any ideas for dress code?

But Jeff Stelling and the football saturday lot will love it, and fans the world over will laugh with us, as we celebrate our demise. It puts Hartlepool on the map, you all know it does.

Get with the programme and stop being so bloody negative.

I've just done a bit of research and there is a shopping centre called The Lanes in Carlisle (1.5 mile away from the ground) which has an esculator so the FDE should be alright. Have they chosen THE hotel and THE train yet?

The FDE are bigger than relegation, the club and the entire football league. Of course it will go ahead.
