...Government of the day decided that all football below the Championship would cease to be professional and consequently be closed down. They believed that it was best to rationalise football so that there would be fewer, but bigger and better clubs with bigger attendances, This would mean the end of local football, but while fans would have further to travel, they'd be seeing the best.
To make this happen, local clubs would be wound down and then merged with the nearest club in the Championship or Premiership...
Disturbed by the idea, I contacted my local MP..... Dave Bloke, who said that as a season ticket holder and long time fan, he was torn between supporting the club and constituents .... or the party. I said I know that, but what was he gonna do ......? " Well, public transport is rubbish, but I'm pushing for a better bus service on match days for a start and reduced fares on the Transporter Bridge "...............

In the meantime, the County Council Safety Camera Partnership announced that there would be 25 new 'flashless' speed cameras erected on the A689, a further 35 on the coast road and Stagecoach released details of their new 25% 'service improvement' surcharge. Anyone found leaving litter along the routes would be detected by the new gantry cameras in Graythorpe, Port Clarence, Newton Bewley and Wolviston and fined shitloads. Trains have been cancelled for the foreseeable future due to complacency.

No-one was available for comment from anywhere as they were all stuck in the Bank Holiday traffic.

That's not a dream mate, that's a nightmare.
