I think we were under the previous owners and it started three years or more ago.

As far as I am concerned the jury is still out on the present owneres, we shall have to wait and see. Certainly the new loan players appear to be an improvement on the shower of shit cobbled together under the old regime.

Well they've impressed me so far, last 2 home games for a 10er, 3 what seem to be pretty decent loan signings and more to come. And most importantly an experienced manager in Ronnie Moore now in charge rather than untried inexperienced managers which we've had to put up with recently. Pretty good going considering they've been here for such a short space of time. We've got a bit of hope for the future now I'm much happier with things concerning my club than I was before they took over.

I heard today that the youth setup is, at the very least, undergoing a restructure this month - whether that is a positive thing or not I don't know yet - but changes are afoot!

Ok, here's my take on it based on calm deliberation and analysis. I apologise that there aren't any Elvis's, Buses on the moon or wrongdoing royalty.

IOR were skint and drained every penny they could out of the firm.
These new lads took over with a bit of cash to spend but no Oligarch levels of spending.
We are adrift at the bottom of the table.
Players don't want to go to a bottom of the table team so we rely on a few loanees and even they're not that keen so we sign who we can.
The club, although no one will admit it are accepting of relegation so why piss all of the money up the wall on overpaid average players? Better to save whats available for a good attack on next season.

Kens not involved.

After the new owners said they want to communicate with the fans,we've heard virtually nothing from them.
Yes we've got Moore,a good appiontment, but recruiting players is the same old crap.

Give them time, like Mr I has said they might not be wanting to put money into signing players when we are likely to get relegated. Plus Moore has said that the club has been knocked back multiple times when attempting to sign players.

What do you expect? They've been here around a month. 3 loan players in with more promised this week. They inherited a team bottom of league 2 looking favourites for the drop. Apart from flinging massive amounts of money about to tempt players to come here, what else do you think they can possibly do? Taking into account the transfer window has just opened and the length of time they've been here. They arnt miracle workers.

There are some assests to be fair. Theres money from the sale of James and Baldwin coming in, they sold about 1000 extra tickets for the 2 Christmas games, theres potentially £400k in season ticket sales in June and July, plus a parachute payment from the Football League when we inevitably exit through the trapdoor.

If you were gonna do a runner and leave the club up the creek then it would make sense to trouser that lot first then fuck off in late September. Not saying for a minute thats their intention, just saying what an assett stripper might do.

I think its also worth pointing out after reading that from Mr I that Russ Green said they had funds to invest and their over riding priority was to keep the club in the Football League. Well since they took over they have had funds in and spent not a penny of it. Three players out and three players in. Thats the facts as they stand as present, everything else is pure specualtion.

What asset strippers normally do is break up a business to sell off the profitable bits. As it's a matter of record that TMH took over a HUFC as a going concern without any debt, if they misappropriated all that income and put the club into administration in September they'd be committing fraud, so blatant and easy to prove that they'd finish up in jail.

As this whole thread is about hunches, I'm pretty sure I have a feeling that Mr Harris and co are not that stupid!

If they took the company over without the debt - then, when the debt was written off (which equates to a taxable profit) who took the tax charge?

How do you know that they took the shares rather than a trade and asset sale?

You've lost me there Mr Honour.

If you care to explain the potential implications of the above (as in "If TMH did x then y could follow") this thread could have legs yet.
