The issue is with Compton is that he's in a well paid job that isn't quite full time and something that most of us would love to do. I just wish he'd be grateful for the opportunities he's had because both on and off the pitch he's a shambles.

I'm with Phil, if he wants to be down south so much then he should go and masquerade as a footballer down there. Either put yourself into it and stop moaning on Twitter or piss off.

In all fairness i thought compton handled that quite well. Only yubep knows why he started on him. Course he misses his kids. Anyone would.

It's precisely why Compton should stay off fucking Twitter though, it's completely unprofessional to be arguing with a fan on there. Honestly if I was the lads manager the first thing I'd do would be to tell him to keep his private stuff, private and get his head down and concentrate on his football. Missing his daughter and family is completely understandable but he doesn't need to be constantly putting it on social media for everyone to read.

Over and over again Compton just disrespects the club. Only he believes he is a world beater. Just stay off Twitter it's not hard to grasp. When you're bottom of the league you are not inviting compliments FFS. I couldn't care less if he never played again for us. A legend in his own mind.

Compton clearly doesn't give a fuck about playing for Pools and regrets signing, in some ways that's up to him, it's a job and he wishes he was closer to his family, that's fair enough but he could do himself a favour by not constant mentioning it

We should have cut our losses with Jack Compton in the summer, he had 3 good games out of 34 league appearances last season and his attitude just isn't good enough and his performances are incredibly inconsistent - sadly, he could be a useful player to have in the Conference.

A few people at pools felt that way too.

The irony of Compton constantly posting personal information to his 4,500 Twitter followers is obviously lost on you.

Nobody has 'beef' about homesickness or this 26 year old 'kid' missing his Young daughter you'd have to be fairly cuntish to do that. It's his absolute unprofessionalism for even responding to Yubep's comment and his constant whining on social media that gets peoples back up, especially when he's contributing nothing on the pitch.

Seems he has a fan in that lass who is sticking up for him.

Not wishing to speak for him but I don't think you are representing Yupebs views. I didn't see any 'attack' and I don't think he has beef with him being homesick or missing his daughter. You are missing the point.

I have zero beef with him being homesick, i have zero beef with him missing his kid, why anyone would even suggest i did is strange.

Jacks a lad who moans a lot about missing his life down south, he gets paid a decent salary to play for a club in the north, so i offered him some free advice, the next club he moves to, check a map first, make sure it's down south.

He got very personal after that, cant imagine why. Maybe he cant read a map?

I'm with Yubep and 80spoolie, I'm not really keen on him as a footballer. Bad attitude, can be very lazy, seems disinterested at times and loves a moan. When he is on his day, he can be a very influential player and he has a bit about him to suggest he can change a game, but when does he ever have his day - 3 games a season? Nah, get rid. A lot of us give Jonathan Franks some stick but at least he just gets on with his job, he must get endless amounts of abuse and stick on Twitter and at games but he remains professional and ignores them.

the lad has some ability, but prefers to moan other than get on with his job in hand. he has a job which many people would love to do yet seems to pick all of the negative things out about it.

when he signed for us, why did his family not move with him? If they weren't willing to, why did he sign for us? presumably because no-one else wanted him....i mean look at his career stats and look at the high number of clubs he has been at.

Not a fan of Compton. Does nothing on a far more regular basis than he does anything. Only game I recall him playing well off the top of my head was Morecambe at home last season.

I'm not on twitter and never would be but if I was I wouldn't put anything on there too personal and certainly nothing that would upset my employers etc
