Good luck Dimi - and thanks for the past four years.

I do hope you get into the first team and don't just warm the bench.

So after reading your comments on the club site it seems the club offered you a fantastic deal to keep you and you turned it down to play in a higher league.

I do hope this is the case as it will be a shame to warm the bench at Coventry every week ,you know it wont be easy to claim the number one shirt but I hope it works out for you.

Good luck and we will see you in the Championship after we win the play-off's. clappp

Good luck Dimi.

If they don't treat you right and force you to play for their reserves, I'll pay a visit and sort them out.

good luck Dimi.it's taken this long to be able to pronounce your name right.I hope coventry's club shop doesn't charge by the letter to put your name on their shirts.

Howay Chip you cant say he has gone just for the money.
Everyone wants to better themselves, and for a career that lasts until you're mid thirties you can hardly blame him.
Im sure he has belief in himself and he has three years to claim the number one spot.
Personally I hope he does it.
You talked about how great he was when he was at pools and now you're slagging him once he's gone. You sound like a deserted partner, understandably bitter but full of bias and hurt effecting your judgement.

I have my dreams too. They may never happen but they keep me moving forward and if the chance comes, I'll jump at it. Still, the dream may never happen but if I didnt give it a go then I would never ever know and would wonder the rest of my life.
We only have one life
Dimi wasnt born a Poolie
Good luck Dimi and I hope you get as high as possible.
Lets hope the new guy is half decent. I for one, reserve my judgement about Provett given he hasnt played for yonks. Lets hope he's up to it too.

he was a nobody when he signed for us.

he was hardly on bobbins at pools was he ? he had a deccent gaff and a motor the size of a 2 bedroom flat.

the club broke the bank to try and keep him here. nearly 2 grand a week for standing about behind nelson and clark watching the grass grow. nice work if you can get it.

fair enough if he had gone to a big club, or if he had gone to a medium sized club as first choice, but he has gone to play for coventry reserves ffs.

ive no truck with people wishing him good luck, but thanking him ?????? thanking him for what exactly ? he wasnt doing frigging voluntary work. he got paid a lot of money for doing very little if you ask me.

people on here were quick enough to slate butler and williams for wanting away, yet when dimi does the same, everyone thinks he is the dogs bollox.

if he dont want to play for us then fook him. theres plenty what do, including the new keeper.

so fook - get over it, get over him and he can have a big welcome to the board car if he wants and he can change job if he wants - its called CHOICE - maybe nelse and clark may have may him look good - but hey lucky him, we got plenty out of him for what he cost in wages and non-fee and if the board think hes worth £90k a year then thats their decision and not yours.

Oh feck off back to Rivals would you refred

And you Chip, what exactly is your problem??

ALL FOOTBALLERS ARE MERCENARIES...Trust me, i've met many, many pro footballers due to a family member being involved in the professional game for the past twenty or so years, and they all go where the money is.....just as you or i would in our own professions

stevie gerrard. turned down about 9 billion quid to stay at anfield and play for an average team.

ritchie humps. could have done a spike lee and gone to sheff wed with turner. i know for an absolute fact he was offered a big wodge of cash to go there and turned it down.

i agree too many of them are wretched mercenary scum with brains the size of peas with their bling and their dullard bimbo wags in tow.

theres been a lot of goalkeeping shiit going on at the vic these last few weeks that i cant go into here and now.

hopefully by the start of the season we will have 2 new keepers

at the club that want to play for us.

Robbie Mac, er Leeds may of bid for him and mayhaps the bore, but that was it

If someone offered you a grand a week to work for them chip, would you knock them back and stay were you are for £300 a week? just out of sentiment and a sense of obvious loyalty.

Would you fook!!!

I'm self-employed chip, in my line of work you can't go on forever because of the nature of the job takes it's toll on you physically, it's fooking hard work.I reckon by the age of 50 i'll be more than ready to pack in, so i've got about 17 years to go.In the meantime i'll get as much money as i can, when i can and work all hours to do it, to support me and my family. After that....Who knows? i'll think of something but will never work for anyone else EVER again.

Dimi will be finished at 36-ish, so he needs to make hay while he can and fair play to him.

You haven't pissed me off chip, far from it.

I see your point...but at the end of the day, we as fans will be here forever, the players, managers and people running the club won't, they are in it to win it.Make as much as they can and when they can.

That's business.

oh dear

chip has so much inside track at the club it's fooked his head up totally.
he wants to stop being a wannabee failed footy player and just get on with his job and family - he'll be hanging around the ground next getting photos and balls signed like others who belive they have sway with the club - but don't.

he may be on the wind up and long term friends with many on here, but i find his "i know this and i know that bullshit" all rather fookin tedious and childish - post it or shut it.

night night mark

standing is going to be the death of me. my life truly is going from bad to worse.

i could of course start a 10 best looking wags thread , but that would be sexist. or at least it could be construed as sexist because i is not taking their personalities into account. will have to run that one by mr dibbs first.

has this thread reached 50 replies yet cos i is bloody sick of it.

The thing is Chip, I wouldnt know one 'WAG' from another, they are as far down the scale as daytime TV presenters, Reality TV folk and the vast majority of the shite in the charts at the moment, you need to get out more!

HOY...we have an admission policy in the Town End, I don't want you chuntering on all season.... so just how much do you need for your season ticket...? I have a cousin who runs 'Kneecap Finance plc' (pay late.... cry!) who'll sort you out.....
