Similar to Howard, he now feels the time is right to come here.

2 year contract too.

That game were he scored a couple at Belle Vue was just about the most bizzare I've ever attended, we were abysmal and deservedly 2-0 down against a team worse than we are now. The ground was falling apart part of the main atand had been burned down (by the chairman Ken Richardson in an insurance scam!) the covered terrace had 'Richardson Out' graffiti on the roof and they were handing out 'Ken Richardson Fire Starter' stickers, anyway the about 1,500 fans they had pissed off after 70 minutes in protest against the arsonist chairman and we proceeded to score 2, the equaliser from Richard Lucas! Never seen a club as much on its arse.

I was at that game. The fans had a protest march with a coffin and there was more Pools fans in the ground until they went 2-0 up and fans came in, I remember the program had a massive fat goalie on the front, he was a mate of the chairman. also I seem to remember Tommy Miller made his debut that game as a sub.
