Lets hope that Ronnie Moore can do one of his half time magic tricks because two goals would make the position massively different.

We are doomed Mr I. Simple as that. I don't need to see how Blackpool are doing. We are out of our depth at the level we find ourself

8 points adrift may as well be 9 with goal difference. Safe to say let's plan for conference.

On the bright side; you can now tie in an away game at Dover with a cheap fags and wine run.

Bates played really well bar that on mistake... Granted it cost us a goal but we can no hit a barn door!! Honestly, they piss around with it so much. The midfield actually ran away from the ball. Brad walker needs to lay off the drink and get himself playing for a Sunday leauge team! What a goat!!

Has any other club pulled it around in this position in recent years? how far adrift was Accrington at one point under Beattie?

Franks was a little better than usual.

We badly missed Harewood though, no one to hold it up and Fenwick was anonymous. Walker is great at marking their midfielders, just a shame it's when we have the ball.

Austin needs scattering. That's two full seasons of slow, painful decision making in a row. Get rid now. Nice lad, terrible footballer for 24 months now.

We were poor all over the pitch but bates was the best of a bad bunch. Anyone saying he wasn't one of our better players today isn't basing the opinion on his actual performance and is probably basing it on past performances

Holden was an embarrassment, Austin is atrocious and needed scattering yonks ago. Walker wants the boot. Featherstone is weak as piss. The worst pools side I've ever seen

I don't like Bates, I didn't want us to sign him in the first place, but he was deffo one of the better players out there for both sides today. Admittedly that's not saying much, but it's factually correct to say he was.

Anyone saying he wasn't could start by listing players who did better than him.

Bates has been alright the last couple of games. It was his slip that started the appalling shitstorm of 'defending' that was the second goal.

He is still completely dog shit though.

I hope 7 or 8 we saw today never play for the club again. Unlikely I know!

There shoud be at least 6 players from today never play again for pools.

If not then we got the wrong manager again

Flinders top of that list every low shot goes thru him.
Fenwick everything about him nortern league standard i cant be arsed to name the rest.

If Harrison signs in Jan, I would start him and Jones at CB and give Bates another shot at CM. Thought he didn't look too bad running forward with the ball, he took on more players yesterday than Fenwick and Ironside put together.
