All in all I thought yesterday was a pretty good day out.

What an eventful game. First half was rubbish. Second half what a difference!

The Mansfield fans were shocking but we made an atmosphere and had the north stand bouncing!

The ground its self was laughable, the stand to the left of the away end boarded up with advertising boards, what was that all about it looked hideous! The advertising boards around the pitch, particularly in front of the away end were all smashed and had a little metal fences in front to stop us getting on the pitch.
The food was shocking as well. Not only did it take about 20 minutes to get served but my cup of bovril was only half full and didn't have a lid on, seen as though there was so many people trying to get served it made it almost impossible to get out of the queue without spilling it.

Back to the match though the second half was brilliant. The banter with there goal keeper before the second half was brilliant, took the whole have you got a passport very well, top lad. As for the game it could have went either way, when the whole ground thought they scored I thought it was all over. The referee was diabolical and I don't think the linesman gave a throw in without his permission.

Highlights of the day.
'He bets when he wants, he bets when he wants, Ronnie Moore, he bets when he wants followed by an applause and a thumbs up from Ronnie Moore, what a bloke!

I admit at half time I was wondering why I'd bothered to make the effort. By full time I was quite glad I did.

I wish the home games were as noisy as the away games, funny how 400 can make more noise than 4000!

Any thoughts on the game at all?

Yep, Sunday pub team first half, bottom half of league 2 second half, a midfilder and centre forward with a brain resembling a pea for getting sent off, great fan participation and Bovril only 1.20 a cup!
