Has everyone who wants to seen the last episodes?

If so, what did you think?

The Missing- slower and very silly at times. The best thing was how they gave everyone an obvious physical change so the poor thick viewer could tell what time zone we were watching ( older Julien had a limp and a beard, the older mother had different hair length and colour, the older dad had greyer hair and a drunkards ruddy complexion ) apart from the copper who appeared to have been wearing the same Harrington jacket/tight blue sweater combination for about 8 year.

Which I thought was pretty accurate, cos most coppers don't have the imagination to change their wardrobe from one decade to the next. He was even wearing the same shoes 6 year after the event.

There were quite a few faults that I picked up on, but I was kind of willing to go along with both of them on the grounds that they were so much more interesting than most other drama on TV at the moment.

One of the most interesting aspects was the character of Vincent Bourg...a non-knee jerk portrayal of a paedophile is pretty rare.

Nesbitt seems to thrive in emotion filled roles. He was excellent as Ivan Cooper in Bloody Sunday.

The Missing went on too long for the detail required and the wnding was a little disappointing after 8 weeks of viewing. Ken Stott was good and had a good death but many others of the supporting cast hinted at a deeper storyline for them but were very light. The peado, the new husband and some others didn't bear fruit. I think it lost its way in eight episodes.

I liked The Fall a lot. With these even though some of the lesser parts hinted at depth, it seemed to fit that they didn't go too deep, total contrast to Missing. Decent ending, potential for more. The storyline was strong and plenty of movement in it.
