"Sportsmail understands Murray had even offered to help contribute towards the cost of bringing in new players in a bid to spark a turnaround." :/

I'm sure lying about league 2 clubs must shift millions of copies. Surely Craig hope is in as good a position as anyone to know what hodcroft and green are like.

Ok, I just scanned it and assumed because it was the Daily Mail, it was utterly worthless. I've now read it properly and it just reads like a typical Daily Mail piece. Maybe there are some glimmers of truth in there but I just get the impression someone just had to write something vaguely interesting. History tells that facts are very much a secondary concern to Dacre and his orcs.
Hope is making a living, so nothing against him personally.

Anyway, if it is Moore, I've asked a couple of mates what they think, a Rotherham and Tranmere fan.

Of Moore... 'He lives near me and is an absolute legend in Rotherham. I love him. Old school. Great sense of humour. The best manager in the history of Rotherham United.'

From Tranmere fan... 'Good manager at our level, worked wonders at Rotherham and had several good spells with tranmere...'

Other than that, I've not heard much bad about him. Probably worth a go, if he's interested.

Damn it, my Rotherham mate has just added... 'My only question mark would be whether his approach is a bit outdated now.'
This was my worry but for a few minutes there, I had some hope...

People I know can tell you first hand that the Daily Mail do make things up, will twist anything to make it sound good, and are generally a big bunch of cuunts.

Plan B it is then.

I reckon they've got their wires crossed, it looked to me like he was eyeing up an attractive policewoman, and actually said 'I'd fuck that!'

Maybe the threat of being arse raped by Ronnie will act as impetus to the players to pull their fingers out

If I was taking over as manager I'd have a list of stipulations as long as the M1 all signed and sealed.

and if they were reneged on yet again, nothing to stop the press and the public from being informed in full

In fact if that was a deal breaker for getting the job, Moore should do it out of the best interests of football

I only wish Phil Brown had opened his mouth

Colin Cooper won't say anything either, or Neale Cooper

I really wished at least one of them would say something

Only Newell said anything, but didn't say too much

What he did say on Talksport told me an awful lot.

OK I will re phrase. Opened his mouth in terms that those still in support of Hodcroft would understand but in one syllable words

If we do appoint Moore I guess he wont be allowed near Throston bookies.

Those of whom you speak are like people who live under a dictatorship but carry on obeying orders with gusto.......despite protesting under their breath they aren't happy.

If I was Moore I would want to be able to change the whole backroom staff, whether he is allowed to do this will be crucial to our survival, if he isn't then he hasn't got a cat in hells chance of success

if he isn't appointed, then we will know how it has gone

and if Pools say that Collins was their first choice, then we should set fire to Green and Hodcroft the first chance we get

If Collins gets the job we might as well contact the league to tell them we've claimed bottom spot as our own..... and at least free my Saturdays up.
Going to Pools is like visiting a relative with s terminal illness who's lost the will to live......you have to go but you'd rather not see them in this state.

Some folks think that they will make a full recovery in time for the summer holidays

Some folks have the theme tune from the magic roundabout playing on a loop in their head.

I certainly do! But the other circuitry enables me to see the apparitions behind the rest of the pantomime
