if i renew my season tickets, in our seats this year it will cost me
£399 + £75 = £474

if i buy the lads +pay on the gate £414 + £75 = £489

so i would save £489 - £474 = £15.............

as we always miss the first or second match due to holidays, and i miss 1 or 2 due to working shifts.........

my finacial advisor has told me (er indoors) that it will be stupid of me to renew my tickets.......... stpid banghead   rage

There is also a £10 set up charge for the two months scheme and 4% PER TICKET by credit card and £1 admin fee for debit card and the credit on the monthly payments are making this a no go.

The first thing Er-indoors said to me today "I have been thinking about the season ticket costs and I do not think it is a good deal for us this season".

I have told her about the first for cup games etc and the look said it all. stpid

This is unreal as it I cannot remember the last time we did not have season tickets,so I have told her we have till 5pm on Friday 29th June to decide. confised

AMMENDMENT....
if i renew my season tickets, in our seats this year it will cost me
£399 + £75 + £3 = £477

if i buy the lads +pay on the gate £414 + £75 +£1.50 = £490.50

so i would save £490.50 - £477 = £13.50...

I have sacked my accountant....

The 13 year old and the 16 year old can get season tickets for £75.00 each for any part of the ground

Wasn't sure if the 16-year-old would count as a U16.

If it is £75 quid each then my 3 tickets will cost £504 instead of £828 on the door, a saving of £324  clappp

Yes but this saving is only if you pay in cash by 5pm 29th June.

Good point, I'd better make sure I do that. Haven't checked what the price would be otherwise. Cheers.

that date is only if you want to keep the same seats as last year, there is no discount for paying early, keep your money in your bank until the last minute and join the Q that will be at the ticket office down to the marina........

If the true fans like ourselves are not happy with the prices what are the floating fans going to think
Bad move by pools i'm afraid, £20 to sit and £18 to stand is not going to attract more punters.

Pools should have given special offers to the fans who renew early, if the don't want to give a discount why don't they give fans who renew early a free shirt or something like that.

Its unfortunate that so many of you have kids who are just turning 16 aswell because that is a massive increase from £70 to £200

Or, to put it another way, there is a massive saving for under-16s?

Cheers for the info, Chip. I had my doubts about the £75 for the 16yo. So he pays £179. With £354 for me and £70 for the 13yo it's £603 for the season instead of £828 at the gate. So I save £225, or about a tenner per game. Still happy with that

I think it's actually £199 for a 16 yr old, MadJohn, ( though you still seem to be saving more than anyone else!)
I suppose the Club must be raking in a fair bit by all this or they wouldn't be doing it, but surely it's still a drop in the ocean for them compared with what it's costing most of us. During the last year it actually did seem that they were listening at last, and goodwill was starting to mean something, but apparently not.

Anyway, on the official site it does say that there's still HUFC's own option of spreading cost interest free over 2 months.

But it's not free, there is a £10 set up fee for this. banghead

There seems to be very very little incentive to get a season ticket for your odd punter like myself and I can't see us selling many.

As a result, it makes fuck all difference if those getting season tickets get priority of away ticket as I doubt we'll sell over 1000 season tickets anyway and most grounds will be giving us well over 1000 meaning there will always be tickets on general sale.

The club have fucked up here if you ask me, I was 50/50 over whether to get one as I don't have hundreds of pounds sitting around and this decision has confirmed it.

chip, isn't the reason behind a season ticket that you will attend every game?
