According to a mate who supports Mansfield he is the best player they have had in years and can play right back too. Good thinking if it's true as we definitely need to strengthen our full back areas

Lumpy has just posted on Rivals that we are going to sign Paul Mayo from Lincoln (a left back).

I know these are all rumours but with Duffy and now Baptiste, we certainly seem to mean business in readiness for next year.

We need two full backs really though and if Baptiste can play right back, we wouldn't we sign both of them. Two players for each full back position, and Gary Liddle who can play anywhere... sorted!!

Does anyone think we will break with tradition, and actually sign player(s) more than two weeks before the start of the season? Virtually every summer we are the only club without a new signing until the last minute.

Would be surprised if we got baptiste as I have heard really good things about the guy but I guess it all depends if he wants to warm the bench at 'narrichh'

Was talking to Russ Green and Sir Chris of Turner the other day and they said they expected 2 signings by the end of the week. Unfortunately they weren't drunk enough to name names, but did get to witness some quality dad dancing from Sir Chris
