Boss bailed after park sex claims

A BUSINESSMAN has been arrested over allegations that he participated in sexual activity with a 13-year-old schoolboy.

Police arrested Hartlepool skip hire boss Andrew Benson, 39, after apparently discovering him in a Jaguar car with a boy. The vehicle was parked in Teesaurus Park, in the Riverside area of Middlesbrough, when Cleveland Police officers on routine patrol came across it. The businessman, who runs Easy Skips, in Casebourne Road, Hartlepool, was arrested on suspicion of being involved in sexual activity with a child.
He was questioned by officers about the alleged incident and was released on bail while further inquiries are carried out.

Officers also searched his luxury Hartlepool home in Coniscliffe Road, West Park. A police spokeswoman said: "I can confirm that a 39-year-old Hartlepool man has been arrested for being involved in sexual activity with a child. "He was interviewed and bailed pending further inquiries."

Teesaurus Park, which was opened in 1979, features several dinosaur sculptures. The park is regularly patrolled and it was during one of these patrols that Mr Benson was spotted at 10pm on Monday.

Yes it is, sky blue and dark blue around the sleeves with loads of white masking tape around where the sponsor was.........

One of the lads said he missed a straight one on Friday night because and I quote he "was not used to batting in coloured clothing" I kid you not!!

I've been wanting a proper HCC cricket tank top for years - the white ones with the blue and sky blue stripes around the neck. I can't wear my Dad's cos it'd look like I painted it on. You know of anywhere in the town that does them PJ?

We had ones given with the crest on, but it was a couple of years ago. But most cricket outlets will sell them(without the badge obviously but our colours) nothing in town I don't think though now Goughy's is closed. We don't really have anywhere in town that sells decent cricket gear these days. The best shop in the North is in Rochdale (Romida.) We have made trips to there on a couple of occasions on route to Pools away games, one I remember is Wrexham in the last promotion season, buying a new bat was actually better than the game.....

I've just found something else out tonight and don't think i'm making light of the situation this is 100% true, his company also sponsors............ the under 13's.

Aye, I figured it'd be nigh on impossible since Goughy closed down his shop. It makes me sad... where can I get decent cricket gear and 15 year old Adidas Sambas now? banghead

Agreed, it is very wrong after all, the guy could be innocent. The fact that a 13 year old boy was helping him clean his personal bits is neither hee nor there.
