So, who is out there who is available and more important is capable of turning us round, who would you all like to see as Pools next manager? :text-feedback:

Just spoke to a mate who said Mark Venus is interested!

No thanks. Not enough league experience. Can hardly call caretaker at borer for a couple of months enough. We need a low league time served gaffer in.

Allen wont leve Barnet. What I mean is we won"t pay compensation. So rule out Alken. IMHO

Who would want to manage a 'sinking ship' ?
Seriously...The good thing is, it's only 6th October. We have time to creep up the table, but IOR didn't back Cooper in the summer/transfer window...they deserve this situation.
So, I am thinking, thank f**k there are some other crap sides in the division.

That's the way I see it too. Probably give them till after Xmas and then think about another manager ...then think a bit more.... then whoops...relegated.
I seriously hope my imagined scensrio is just that...trouble is....... bbolt

There are some within the power structure at HUFC that have a serious vested interest in Sam Collins getting the job.

And it has nowt to do with whats good for the first team.

As soon as Cooper walked a mate of mine (big Boro fan) put a bit of money on Mark Venus - he wasn't even on the list of odds that I saw so God knows what odds he got. I hope whoever comes gets the chance to bring his own back room staff too. I think Brian Laws worth a go.

The Carlisle message board seemed to think Kavanagh was sniffing around it, great.....

Kavanagh would be a good choice. He is of course responsible for Carlisle going to the bottom of division 4 prior to us, so makes perfect sense.

And he was a serious contender prior to cooper getting it.

He will be friends with someone inside the walls of power.

I cant see anyone with Boro connections taking the job. Surely they would ask Cooper about the club first? sctatchinghead

And they stopped the betting after Brown 'got the job' last time. Means nothing. Ken/Russ/Tea lady wont even have started interviewing yet.

They wont have even started the discussion on what needs to be put in the advert for the job.

They stopped taking bets as Brown was almost a done deal, he watched a reserve game and even people within the club said it was very close to happening. Not sure it means nothing they don't just cut people without taking money maybe its an over reaction but clearly some substance to him/pools being interested.
