I'm giving it a miss. First home game of ANY kind I'll miss for 12 year.

I will be there with the other hardcore supporters. Dearly hope we can hang onto the support and not return to to dark days of 1000+ supporters. Recipe for disaster that.

The reason I ask is because a poll allows anonymous people to vote one way and do the opposite...I'd like to see people who care actually say it on here.

I will be going to support the TEAM and whoever is managing it, would be nice for the interim manager to feel a level of support!

Look beyond one game and the team and whoever is in charge and see the bigger picture. It's about making a stand against a chairman who is letting our club drift out of the football league and is hiding behind utter bullshit and excuses to justify it.

As for the team they are that rudderless and gutless they'll probably play better in front of nobody, Jonathan Franks might even take his eyes off the floor for two seconds, you never know. They have no attributes that you'd want in a football team, none of the qualities needed for regularly winning matches at this level. Look no further than our so called captains performance yesterday; pathetic. I'm starting to think this so called famed Boro academy breeds losers. The likes of Bates and Franks are non entities who don't deserve support.

Wild horses couldn't drag me to the match, fuck them.

Bates has got to be one of the biggest shysters ever to play for this club... and he's captain!! WTF?

It's the support of the gallows ........ you're either preared to make a stand or meekly carry on perpetuating the same old sad cycle........for the teams sake.

Austin to get the armband back for Tuesday and the remainder of the season.

I won't be attending Tuesday. I'm actually debating the next home game. If the better half asks me to do a bit of shopping at the euro I might actually be swayed to do that.

Or I'm sure I can find some decorating that needs doing before Santa comes.

Sorry, but I don't know what this is expected to achieve. I will be there supporting my club as usual. Not through blind faith but because it is my club! This is a completion we should be competing in - whether we will be any good this year remains to be seen, but I will be there.

Your choice Geoff .. Carry on regardless but the only way you can hit this IOR is by refusing to line their pockets. They've got the money for the season ticket I see no reason to give them more.

Is this going to be another epic protest from the bunker designed to bring the club to its knees?

Rex Shitter has always been the worst poster on this board. He even puts Sussex in a better class of post content

It's funny how this sort of stuff brings out the worst. I notice on ITB peoples snide comments referring to "Our Spokesmen" etc..piss taking, cheap shots at fellow Pools supporters. All very saddening.

Some would turn up regardless of what happened at the club.
If Ghengis Khan took over with Vlad the Impaler as chief exec and Goebels as director of communication with the penalty competition replaced by a mass sacrifice of virgins at half time, I'm sure someone would see a bright side to it and express their undying loyalty to...... 'their team'....oh dear.

Marvelous come back there Parmo. And I agree with you, I hope everyone pulls together and gets behind the team. It's not that I don't like Bunker it's just that when my opinion differs to other peoples I seem to get a barrage of insults. Been a Poolie for 47yrs so I have seen it all and heard it all before. Stay away if you think that's the way to improve the situation but in my opinion we are bye and large stuck with majority of the squad we have at present so to have any chance of rescuing the season the team will need support.

I stopped reading at that. Anyone who thinks pools are
'their club'
' the towns club'
'my club'
'our club' (unless of course you are ken hodcroft or IOR ) still hasn't managed to remove the blinkers.

Pools stopped being our club years ago.

It also amazes me that you seriously think fans turning up in itself will make bad players play better.

After 47 years of watching football I thought you might have picked a few things up along the way, but seemingly not.

In total agreement. Most players are contractors doing a job.....offer them more money and off they'll go. The absurd idea that disappointing players who couldn't be arsed when the manager was here will suddenly become caring worldbeaters based on the doe eyed support they receive from the usual suspects is comical.

Yes, it would still be my team. I don't have to be happy with what is happening to it - or with those in charge, but it is still my team. I have spent 40 years defending it from the people I live amongst (in Darlo) and I an not about to change now. Whoever is "in charge" is only their in a temporary capacity - fans on the other had have the club in their blood.

I don't disagree with protests but i ain't missing a game i'm afraid, and yes i'm one of them daft so and so's who'll turn up regardless, it's torture at times but the only thing i couldn't do in the form of a protest is miss a home game, it kills me when i have to miss one for other reasons ( for the record, its about 9 in the last 10 years and about the same for the 20 years before that).
