Why oh Why do we keep trying these??? We are useless at them at it achieves nothing. Just whip the fucker in the box, it's not that hard!! Honest to god I'm sick of watching us attempt these pointless corners. It's embarrassing.

Well spot spotted Joe, but with our team a corner isnt and advantage, may as well concede possession. i always say put it on penalty spot, always a chance then

We don't look a threat from corners at all the amount of crosses/corners put in I can think of one attempt which was even remotely close to going in

We need a big striker in the Steve Howard mould.

Watching the Football League Show this morning, just about everybody in the bottom two divisions take corners better than us....you can tell because they only show the goals/near misses, and there's dozens of those on last nights programme that are straight from.......corners.

I actually think some of Brobbels set piece delivery is very good, he really whips them in the problem is someone to get on the end of them.

It's a free cross, I never understand corners that go too far or don't beat the first man, it's an unopposed kick into the box, how can you get that wrong as professional footballer?

Better to take a short corner, the goal expectancy of a corner is tiny. Much better to take it short an try to work something better.

In some cases yes, as long as you have a well worked plan in mind. However when we do it we invite pressure and 9 times out of 10 we don't beat the first man.

Every time I see a corner that doesn't beat the first man I get another grey hair.

I always favour the type which involves someone peeling off round the back to nod a long corner back across the face of goal. There must be a reason why it isn't employed more often.

I watched Brobbel take a corner from the Corner Flag side yesterday and he had a flagpole blocking his run-up, therefore was unable to get much pace on it. Who the fup' put them that close to the pitch stpid
