Now now girls, bridges have been built and that's a little bit more difficult than burning them.

So fookin' behave yourselves and welcome our invited guests with the more traditional greeting which they have been told to expect.

Mr Bruno, can we have a rundown of your experiences with Leeds which leads (see what I did there?? Clever eh?? ) you to label them with such a soubriquet??

so that makes their fans scum?

Not all, but the ones who threatened to cut mine and MonkeyHarris's throats in Harrogate a few years ago are, each to their own mind

So by definition I take it you also say some pools fans are scum?

Without doubt, a few years ago I saw a 'well known' Poolie, just lean into an open car window and punch a fan in the face down at Barnet

However, Leeds still have a bad reputation and a fair ew of their fans revel in it

What exactly was a bus full of Hartlepool Fans, on the way back from Rochdale, doing in Leeds City centre, shortly after they had been relegated? Mmmmmmmmm...................ponders.

In no sense of the word is Leeds city centre part of the route back to Hartlepool.

I dont suppose any of the pools fans fancied a wind up?

I drove to Rochdale and the A66/A1 junction was closed and we were diverted through Leeds.

Stroll on.

Not said a word in anger yet but already labelled as scum.

Worro Poolios. Believe it or not I do come in peace. Dunno if any of my fellow cyber Leeds friends will sign up or not but hopefully as far as being "scum" goes we'll manage to convince you we're nowt of the sort. Just footie lovers who happened to be born on the correct side of the A1. :sweeeet:

Surprised to hear of it kicking off in Harry Gate mindst thee TA. Were you tucking into your high tea in Bettys at the time? Shocking.

Anyroad, best go find mesen a suitable avatar for this fine cyber establishment.

Don't worry thisens - i'll be back. :sweeeet:

Never understood this 'scum' thing. There are scum who follow all teams undoubtedly but that doesn't mean that anyone who follows another team is scum.

Besides, we have a tradition on here of being welcoming to reasonable opposition fans as Walsall will testify.

To Mr Leeds, on behalf of most of this board I apologise for the insult.

Made my peace with relegation to division 3 a long time ago ADG. No offence to you guys but its Leeds United I go to watch - not especially bothered about the opposition. I'll be there wherever it takes me.

New places to go, grounds to visit and people to meet. I can live with that especially whilst we're going through the rebirth of a stronger Leeds United. Cheaper season tickets already announced today too so things aren't looking too bad for us at the moment IMO.

And worrabout the Tranmere bus that had it's windows bust outside the CFE on Stockton Road??

And worrabout the Rochdale fan who got his neck broke by some Poolies??

We've all got daft lads, we know this, we found some Leeds fans who aren't daft.

Welcome to the board Slick, F00K OFF!!

Age is relevant and Grabec, might we enquire if you will going to a birthday party on Saturday night?? Of a school contemporary of yours?? And might we know how old that certain birthday boy is??

No - i'm definately not dibble. Answer to all manner of connotations of my username across mostly Leeds MBs, couple of Wendy boards and now here of course.

Have made a load of mates from t'internet that I go to games with and it's second nature now hearing "Oi Slicks" shouted across the kop.

Peeved to say I shan't be able to go to the birthday party of my much older friend on Saturday. Our bairn is doing exams and we can't get away.

Happily, your argument falls down altogether on the grounds that he wasn't a school contemporary of mine at all  But of course you're right.... age is irrelevant

Luckily for you

Me neither as it 'appens. Shame, we could have slugged it out in the car park.

But while you're being pedantic, I said RELEVANT not IRRELEVANT and unless he was hanging round the nursery gates (the babies one not the plants one), you was definitely his contemporary back in the late forties, Grandma!!

And I am a mere stripling. :sweeeet: :sweeeet: :sweeeet:
