I wouldn't fancy a midfield of miller and greening, we need some more legs in there, it's one or the other for me.

Didn't Greening start at York as oppose to the United academy out of interest ?
He has certainly had an excellent career

If bringing Greening in means Walker can sit in centre midfield in front of him instead of out wide then yes please.

I know he's a good player but he at the very least needs to stand up.

I'd be questioning his work rate otherwise.

He was playing as a defensive mid at forest last year and the one before, that role would be good for him if walker came back alongside him in centre mid.

Yep, a Championship side. Would potentially be a great signing for us but he may still get offers from clubs in a higher division. Best not to count any chickens just yet.

I'd be delighted if this happened. A much better option than Tommy Miller, and would be a great partner for Brad Walker.

ALways remember starting Uni in York in '98 and the locals in the nightclub raving about Greening. He's had a cracking career, despite not having truly stellar quality. Think he'd be a fantastic signing, he's got a good couple of years left in the tank.

Anyone can see walker on the right just doesn't work, same as Compton tucked in, you lose the best part of each players game

Looked a little off the pace to me tonight, but he was thrown in at the deep end, so will reserve judgement. Cant Cooper just sign someone who he doesnt know?
