Do you have kids? Maybe the young lad was excited to get his new shirt, was off school, and wanted to be first?!

Is the first shirt better than the rest?

Ahh, your probably one of the thousands like me who cant view pictures on the official site whether its on a pc or the app.

I love the bit where the players draw a fellow Pools player. They keep drawing the same 'x' though everytime.

Yeah, to a six year old it probably is. Really, this is basic stuff....

I've heard the King John is giving a free breakfast to the first person to turn up in the new kit, with the top they left the house in stashed away in the Pools carrier bag.

And for the sake of repeating myself for the eightieth time, the club shop is a franchise which Pools don't have control of, including the number of different sizes ordered.

And I might be wrong but their website is also out of the control of Pools staff as all league clubs have to use the same format.

Thats fair enough then!! But did they ask the club shop staff for scissors to remove the tags?

Im pretty sure everyone is aware and its a long running joke now.

Like Mellish, Rochdale etc etc

The board is all about repetition like me constantly being positive.

I would recommend just being all gadgie and pulling the fuckers off.

Not everyone reads the board all the time and is aware of the in-jokes. There's plenty that could be improved at the club, but it's shan moaning about stuff which is out of the club's hands.

You can hurt your fingers a little bit if you do the full gadgie tag rip. Best to be careful and ask for scissors even if your 'friends' call you a puff.

Why such negativity towards the new away strip. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Simple. One thing it has done is create topical conversation which can only be good. It's surely better than a boring old red or black etc. The red away kit last season resembled the type every other team in the Sunday morning league would have worn in the eighties or ninetees.
But there was hardly a whimper about that load of shite!

Pools order the sizes they want, whether they are available or if they order enough is another issue.

But I've spoken to the ladies in the shop and they do the orders themselves, I think some times they just don't order enough, naïve maybe.

I imagine in this case it's better for the club to order too little than to order too many and be left with stock they can't shift.

Hardly likely, that would mean him leaving Hertfordshire and getting a day release pass from the secure unit!

You do see the irony in slagging people off for slagging a shirt off and then slagging another shirt off yourself dont you?
