Reminds me of working offshore in the eighties with George Kinnell (ex Sunderland and Borer) who was a deck rigger. From playing in front of 50,000 fans each week to trundling around a wet and windy deck, sneaking cups of coffee etc. Same with Richard Dunn, about the same time was a scaffolder, fought arguably the greatest boxer ever (Ali) and reduced to hiding and sheltering from the weather trying to keep warm with a paper cup of tea.

£800 a fortnight, think he'll make decent squad player and alternative option for that.

Only 33. Worth a look at LOL

There aren't many former Pools players I dislike more than him. Would have bagged loads more for us if he put in the tiniest bit of effort.

Kyle used to have an investment in a pub in Bishop and a Nightclub in Spenny, if my memory is correct. That was when he was at Sunderland. Both failed, he must of lost a few bob there. I will add allegedly, cos I never met him and he didn't ask for my autograph. He was allegedly seen drinking in both establishments regularly.

Shetland League? I they like to keep it on the deck, it gets a bit breezy up there.

It's not a bad standard to be fair. Most teams play a neat and tidy passing game and there's a distinct lack of orrible old cloggers out to break people 'a legs. I say 'most' teams as Petrofac's team is mostly made up of orrible Glaswegians sticking the elbow in, much to the consternation of the locals. The pitches/facilities are really decent too due to the oil/gas rich nature of the island and the fact they've had considerable lottery funding.

And weirdly enough it's not that windy when they play the majority of the season as it's held over summer. Well not as windy as it is in winter, anyway.
