Snowy and Grabec haven't been on for a while. It was nice to see Albatross on here recently though.

I miss Cornelius the most, he knew how to get a party started. Even his avatar was great, that bloke in stockings with his old man up an Austin Ambassador exhaust pipe.

In a way I miss some of the more deranged Loids as well - Loid Lucan, Quackerz and the others.

Definitely Quakerz, and number one was alright as well both were involved in some humorous threads over the years and away from the normal Pools/Darlo stuff used to be alright. Not Loid Lucan though, he's a tit best avoided, in the DJ envelope. I remember him threatening to sue Spinbowler once :laugh:

Yes, I miss Cornelius too. He was definitely one of the main orchestrators in getting a party started. Significantly, he never ever talked about football. Message in there somewhere......?

I'm around occasionally, not posting much partly because my work keeps me busy, and partly as I seem to be now stranded in the land that football forgot (aka Shropshire)... the local team play in the West Midlands League (Northern League sort of level) and I think most of the people are a bit too genteel for Footy - Tennis, Crown Green Bowls and Golf more likely.

Couldn't believe it when the fixtures came out - the away games within range for me (Shrewsbury and Tranmere) are precisely one week apart in January!

To clear, things up....I've been to various establishments in the Portsmouth and Dorset area for lectures and to watch the crushers training.

It's the other end of the county from me, and the roads around here are.... well, put it this way when going anywhere I have to allow an extra 15 minutes getting stuck behind a tractor time. Would take me about an hour and a half to get there.....
