No, nowt to do with Vance Miller esq.

Does anyone know where the best place is round here to get kitchen unit doors and drawers?

Our kitchen needs updating and the units themselves seem ok so just wondering about replacing to fronts.

Ive been told to avoid the B&Q 'specials'!

You can buy special paint from b&Q for this, saving you a small coinage % :ugeek:

There was/is a place in Stockton that used to do" fronts" etc. Check the ads in the local free papers.

Howden Joinery. Seriously, ask for about 40% discount, you'll get it if you push hard enough.

I looked at them paints you can use for the drawer fronts but the drawers are really old fashioned and a bit battered. Think they need replacing. I will give coast a try cheers. I don't get the free local papers bishop so I've no idea which place it is in Stockton.

Cheers.

Remember to check that the new fronts don't clash with any existing trims or side panels that you're not replacing otherwise it will look proper chav.

I must be one of those people who wouldn't realise if the kitchen even had cupboards, never mind changing them. I simply do not care enough about stuff like what the house looks like.

You don't understand. It's not about cupboards. Stuart from Bearpark is really good-looking.

Maybe, but I'm predominantly implying that he is not a cupboard.....which, come to think of it, probably in turn implies that parmo will like him. So, parmo can have Vance and I'll have Stuart.

why does it need updating?

I doubt it will make your food taste better.

Has someone been round your house, and laughed at how out of date your kitchen is?

Our lass refuses to set foot in it how it currently is so it needs updating so that I get my meals. Obviously im not cooking, being the bloke an all

I dont think the old lady who lived there was too fussed about interior decorating to put it mildly!

I know someone that has just spend 6k on a new kitchen......................a mere 5 years after his last one.

Now I dont know about nice environment, but it would break my heart walking into a room, used only for cooking, fridge, washing machine, and kettle, knowing that it cost 6k just to decorate a room thats used for the above purposes.

I would cry at the waste of money.
