The reason I ask is the number of ponies and traps on thd roads, where have they come from...? I was behind one in Seaton driven by what looked like two 14 year olds with a three year old who appeared to try the horse version of a handbrake turn....the horse lost its footing and nearly went over.....
How old do you need to be to drive a horse and trap and do you need insurance....? A horse over your bonnet will need a touch more than a bit of filler.

I made the same point to the other half while over taking a one 'driven' by what looked like a pair of 12 year olds on Easington Road yesterday. Do they do a test? Are they insured? What is the minimum age to pilot a beast on the road? In fact the rant was long enough for it still to be going as I pulled up on the drive!

so basically Stockton is improving as the population of these fuckers is diminishing over there? Might be time to move in the opposite direction then

It's like going back in time in some parts of the town. We have at least one rag and bone man down our street every day and they not shy in trying to lift stuff out of your garden that takes their fancy. There's flea infested ponies on every trading estate and spare patch of grass, and the fly-tipping is reaching epidemic levels.

Theres one family moved in a few hundred yards from where I live already had 2 vehicles burnt out, their front garden is like a mini zoo, and the back yard looks like the council tip.

From what I was told now Housing Hartlepool is part of that Thirteen Group its a licence to shift in problem families from down South i.e. Stockton.

The shifting of problem families into the town has been going on for ages now.

No one seems to bat an eyelid about it. Its only when you see the number of horses and carts, that you realise something sinister has happened.

Hartlepool is going to hell in a hand cart, along with the gypos and their horses and carts, and the rest of the town is sleepwalking back to the 19th century.

I just hope my younguns get a decent education, away from here, come back now and then, see how bad it is, and decide to settle down well away from here.

Once they do, I will be up and gone. Heading south with a one way ticket.

The town could have a lot to offer, but like Chip has said, the powers that be, are turning it into the wild west. Probably feathering their own nests in the process.

Only probably?
Can anybody tell me a better reason to withdraw the Town Plan than to make it a free for all for large scale planning applications that councillors need persuading to support?
