On what I've seen at the Vic, they were the only one of the top three teams that looked like they should be up there.

I wanted them to win the title but quickly changed my mind as it would mean us being comparatively shittier to all the other teams for having won nowt. Pleased they got promoted though.

I would imagine they are not quotes from the person picking the team, the same person who led his team to the title.

They probably squeezed the last pips out of Richie, limited as a player maybe, but a leader on the pitch, injury free and good discipline. Worth his weight in gold at our level, and so it proved!
