Dolan's not a bad shout, Liddle coming back as a centre half could be good.

Heard a couple myself this afternoon. IOR to sell club to Niramax, and Marlon to be assistant to Colin Cooper.

Would love Dolan, but Yeovil were interested as were Bradford. Think we have no chance.

Wonder if it's the same one I hit him in the kipper with a few seasons ago.

Walker and James will be sold, really can't see us resisting any offer to be honest.

It's all about the pennies now mate, anything over 500k for each will seriously test us.

Your just making it up as you go along. You don't know that for a fact. Cooper has said it will cost clubs Millions to sign James or Walker, he doesn't have the final say, but he does have the ear of Hodcroft.

Just speculation on my part, nothing else. Just can't see them being here.

More than happy to be proved wrong mind!

I have no doubt one of them will go, Walker most likely. But Hodcroft isn't daft, he'll know their worth, so long as Walker is on a decent length contract then I can see Hodcroft holding out for as much as he can

How many times in 12 year have we sold a player for peanuts?

The money will only get swallowed up by IOR to cover costs, that's the level we are at now, it doesn't matter a jot regarding re investment whether it's 500k or £1mill.

Dunno, misterb. But whatever the answer is, it equals the number needed to narrowly avoid descent from the football league.

If we were to lose one of either walker or James then I would rather we sold walker. I think he has been quite average for a while now. Maybe it is just burnout but I reckon we would miss James more.

The lad has only just turned 18. It's hugely unrealistic to expect him to hit the heights he set earlier in the season on a consistent basis. The lad is a class act, but a degree of burn out in his first full season was inevitable.

Hmmmmm....interesting. Niramex must be well in with the SCABS to be able to dump so much of the worlds rubbish in the town and keeps getting permission to get bigger.
Coming home by train, I close my eyes between Seaton and the town...............all you can see is rubbish! :(
Council - ground - Niramex? Think we might have to ground share with Bishop Auckland when the Vic gets sold for redevelopment (or a new landfill site) :(

Lol no chance.

Mind, as for the vic becoming a landfill site, we are so used to rubbish ON the pitch.......

Council... ground...... My big fear is with the cuts and councils selling and cutting we may be approaching the point where the Vic catches the eye as a money spinner... especially as the local Plan has now been shredded.

Niramax hmm...

They wouldn't have anything to do with Louis Nicollin by any chance? (only our Toulouse friends will prolly understand that).

I'm not sure what to make of it... but one undisputable fact is that they are a local firm, so that should be a good thing... but as with all companies you never know what their true intentions are long term!!!
