It's a shame one player has to be singled out when so many have had quality seasons.

Think Nelse will win it but

Big ben has been outstanding
The Humph as always
Dimi has had a big say in this season
Liddle is different class
Eff has been like a new signing
Brown has played left right and up front and has took to them all (young player award)

Just proves that even though I was gutted on saturday and didn't feel like we'd really done anything, in tuesday mornings clearing of the grey clouds, we've had a brilliant season and seen some entertaining football.

League one here we come.

PS I hope all of those players are up for POTY next season and we manage to keep them.

Forgot sweeney

See what I mean.

Monkey & Barker deserve a mention aswell, a full season and they'd be up there.

I think thats about it.

We are not a one man team.

no we are not but without Nelson more than any other player we are a far lesser team.

Had a fit Nelson been playing on Saturday we would be champions now. He would not have given the penalty away, he never does and the second goal would not have happened because that cross would have been dealt with.

And if Monky and Barker hadn't been suspended....we'd have won 4-0!!!! confised :sweeeet:

Anyone from Nelson, Liddle, Humps, Dimi....I could go on!!!!

Judging by the cheer that went up on Sunday when the players were introduced as they got off the bus,Dimi has won it.

But,did they all vote?

For me it will be a shame for one player to be singled out as THE team is worthy of an award BUT if I am pushed into picking just one of them for the award tonight,I would give it to LIDDLE. clappp

I wondered how he would cope with a full season under his belt for us and I just think he got better and better and when asked to do a job for us I think he more than coped.

Agree with all the other nominations but as I say Liddle is my personal choice if only one can win it.

As for young player it has to be Browny.

These are the results from the poolymad jury. clappp

Only six months older than Browny.

Makes the case for Liddle even stronger. clappp

Almost didn't vote, because this year a vote for one person is equal to a vote against five or six equally excellent players. A lot of you seem to be saying something similar.
So, as a matter of interest, if you voted, what criteria did you use? Just personal preference of the player's personality, or what?

Imagine the team without him every week, and try to measure how uncomfortable that makes you feel.

Nelson.

But what I mean is that some of us feel like that about several people, this year

how is the award decided then ? i got the impression that the players had voted. in fact i was told by one of the players that he had voted.

is there a players player of the year and a fans player of the year ?

The fans' player of the year voting forms were on the official site a while ago but it's past the closing date now.
Don't know whether the players always vote.....they did vote for Boydy a couple of years ago but can't remember there being a players' vote at all last year (perhaps understandably)

Kev, you have now mentioned Lee Bullock at least as many times as Special Dave has mentioned Clayton Donaldson. You know what this means, don't you?

I think Nelse will win the fans POTY and Liddle will win the player's POTY.

If E. Williams doesn't win goal of the season (Darlo), that WILL be a traversty!!!

Which just goes to show that it's unfair to single anyone out this season?

Does it mean you're going to run off and work in a kibbutz with Thee Warm Shitter and have Grave Disorders babies??

I dunno, I don't mix in them circles, I'm too busy bringing the tone down to a basement level in here.
