Town end -27 feet up 49.732 degrees south east.

99% of fans positive mind really got behind the team, just the odd nobhead.

it is no wonder that genuine fans can't get tickets for big games like this when we have so many band waggoners prepared to come once or twice a season and moan at players that most of them don't even recognise quote he is useless him who ? thingy

I stand behind the town end goal, in line with the six yard line on the cyril knowles side. There were a few people I didnt recognise but not loads, and they didnt seem to be moaning that much. There were the usual few though I could understand their frustration with Darren Williams today.
I dont miss the millhouse terrace - though I could read the game better from there. The atmosphere is much better in the town end and, where I stand at least, there is much more positivity than negativity.

I was disgusted at the numbers who left at the end of the game and before the team came out for the lap of honour. There was about 4500 Pools fans left in the ground - sounds about right, the bandwagon was leaving five minutes after the final whistle so they had to be on it.

Billingham Poolies have just had a vote to decide where abouts in the ground we should be next season. The results are as follows :
Billingham Poolie : Town End / Mill House Terrace confised
PoolieChrissie : Town End
DaveThePoolie : Mill House Terrace
JonniPoolie : Town End
RitchieJr : Town End

Trust BP to confuse matters

Elvis, seriously considering inviting Headlander for a drink in the White House to ask him why he does what he does. Usually I reluctanlty admit that whilst he winds me up he does it for effect, today I dont feckin need it. What say you pop up to the Whitey rtomorrow evening and have a beer with him. maybe we could invite Grave, Tree and any others that want to join us.............say about 8 ish

I was stood in the Mill House terrace today, near the half way line about half the way up, must have been near MTHB. There was 1 person in particular who was negative from the start, totally contradictory e.g. "play it long" and then "we never get anywhere unless we play it along the ground"& slagging off players especially Sweeney and Williams D. This behaviour just makes it worse for the players if they hear and the 'captive' audience around him. I've not encountered this at away games, the Mill House seats or the CK stand - maybe I've just been lucky in the past.

You must stand near us then fella', Depending on what part
But have to admit there was a lack of moaning around us today & Can understand some of the gripes about Williams, Frustrating is the word to describe him I think

There was the odd one disappointed around me in the town end, but I didn't hear a lot of criticism - probably more frustration that we'd looked to have the title in our grasp until five minutes to go. A few observations that I shared around me...

1) Much better to be in the situation we were in than at the same point last season (One bloke said "I dunno, wasn't here last season - doh!)

2) A good sign in a way that the players were so gutted by it all - second best, even for promotion, is no longer good enough as far as they are concerned (big up for Danny Wilson for that, we've got the winning culture back!)

3) If you'd offered us the chance of winning promotion (never mind the title!) on the last day pre-Accrington, we'd have bitten your hand off.....

4) We'll just have to win our first piece of silverware in our Centenary Season!

Although working abroad I still manage to make 50% of the home games and a few away games per season. I always stand in the same place in the town end but yesterday I had the misfortune to have standing behind me a tw@t of the first order. Never seen him before and probably won't again. When we scored he thought it was amusing (obviously the goal wasn't enough being a once in a blue mooner) to grab my cap and throw it in the air. When I got it back I told him to welcome to the board, he apologised and his daughter who was about 16 and mortified apoligised as well. When we "scored" the disallowed goal guess what happened again. Now I could have took him on, I had 3 mates with me and he was mortal but he had his daughter and who would have suffered if we were both banned? The fooker really boiled my piss. I used to think the more the merrier, we need the support but I'm rapidly changing my attitude. We don't need these fools

I too gave a fool a verbal blast..... rage

he'd whinged and moaned constantly, one moan too far [about a short corner] was enough....something along the lines of shut the fook up, what goods effing moaning gonna do-get behind the lads or keep yer mouth shut!

gadgie behind said 'well said' so at least I knew I wasn't alone [and unlikely to get filled in!!]. moan-a-lot did keep his mouth shut after that, but it made me fel even more tense than i was already feeling! :uhoh:

Amazing how everyone's lapping it up now isn't it?! After the Bury game the players had deliberately thrown it all in. Apparently!

There were a few behind me who stood there with folded arms and grimaces on their faces when Pools came over to us on the lap, muttering their discontent at us not winning the title. I went mental, we don't win silverware but we've proved our genuine worth as League One-ers and if that doesn't impress the fans then they shouldn't go

I left before the players came back. I was really really disappointed that we didn't win the league and didn't want to be in the ground. I knew I would be showing my appreciation to the players efforts at the civic reception and POTY do.

If that means I am a bandwagon jumper then so be it.

I stayed till the players came out but I was bitterly disappointed that we didn't win.
All the talk in the papers etc... about how determined we weren't going to lose the title etc.. and we go and blow it again.
Brilliant season overall but a very disappointing last day.
