...Although sympathising with the plight of those unfortunate people down South involved in the flooding, could this episode in the long run contribute towards levelling the playing field (ever so slightly) as far as house prices sit nationally?, in that we could see people migrating northwards in an attempt to seek a safer haven?
Or is it that we are only talking of a relatively small number of people/area's here, and the media are making a big thing of it?

[ ] possibility of savverners wanting to move oop north and bringing investment and jobs and redistribution of national wealth

[x] reallocate infrastructure expenditure from the north to the south to resolve problems
