....our very own town lad and fellow Pools fan Graeme Bell is currently trying to obtain a card allowing him into this seasons European Senior Tour. Having progressed through the qualifying stages he's currently 2 rounds into the 4 round finals in Portugal, lying 19th, one shot off a top 14 finish which would see him get his card.
A top six finish would see him get a full card, anyone finishing from 7th-14th will be on a reserve list for competitions. Good luck Graeme.

How did he get on?

he is tied 28th after the third round.

Not sure what that means for him now though.

On a similar note:

The way this season has started, it could be Graeme Storms last on the EuropeanTour. He has missed the cut in all tournaments so far bar one and is down to 159th on the Race to Dubai list.

Plenty of time to go, obviously, but he usually gets off to a good start.

...As ADG said he's slipped back to 28th after a 74 yesterday, he needs to shoot a sub 70 round today to give himself a chance.

Bell failed to qualify.

Better news about Graeme Storm though. Made the cut today in tied 35th.

Will be getting some points this week.
