I'm assuming this wasn't posted last night as Headland Keith was masturbating himself into a Frenzy over being able to be a negative 'lovely lovely person' again.

2 games ago we were heading for promotion, going to smash Bury if they tried to play football against our starlets, had 3 players worth a milliion quid and in James Poole had our very own Lionel Messi who should not be substituted under any circumstance.
Funny old game.

Cooper is still the man for the job, he has completely changed the way we play football, brought in some vital players such as Duckworth.

Who would you rather see as manager then Keith?

Have no gripe about CC ,he needs help to bring new players in so again the blame lays with IOR ,who no doubt will make the same excuses .Nothing changes .............!!!!

If you have no gripe with Colin Cooper what the fuck is this thread all about.

Crank.

pointless thread. We have what we have based on who still had contracts, and who Cooper could bring in. If IOR aren't prepared to put any more money in and the club has to be self sufficient - again... so what?

If we have to endure a couple of relegation scraps - so what?

We either support the team or pack in or support Man City

I know what I'm gonna do. There are traditionally/historically much bigger clubs than us experiencing the same difficulties. Some of those clubs are now non league

We either support our club through hard times or we don't

Thick and thin, that's what it's about.

We won't be anywhere near a relegation scrap.

but if we are, it seems to me that some folks aren't prepared to go through it!!!!

I can't believe a team which can pass the ball around as well as ours won't eventually evolve, and do the right things and make the right decisions at the business ends of the park

We are having a mini bad run in that respect

It is inconceivable that a team like Northampton would finish above us, given how poor they were/still are

Wycombe and Wimbledon are on similar runs

Mansfield have had a n upsurge, but I don't think either they or York can play as well as we can when we are at our best

Cooper has improved the style of play massively, and I'm sure he's well aware there's a long way to go. These young lads are going to be very good players, hopefully still together and a lot better in another year

We may indeed need an older head to guide them through some situations when it gets sticky like it did yesterday, but games like yesterday are also the making of men

It is setbacks which define you as a person, and both the squad and the manager will take it on the chin and resolve to fight their way out of this

Are we going to back them? I am, I know many others on here will.... the flakey ones like headlander and keith have no fight for it!!!!

Let's give this team and manager a chance eh?

We've only lost 2 more thasn we've won in the league, we've had another 3 wins and a draw against league one sides, and two very unlucky defeats against league one sides

How about some perspective about the WHOLE season so far?

It's not like we deserved some of the league defeats either... Fleetwood, Southend at home, Scunthorpe away...

We deserved 3 points at Bristol Rovers, it's not quite all going our way but the players will get much more valuable lessons from this, than if everything went for them all the time

Seconded. If anyone has supported Pools for more than years they must appreciate that we can't have success all the time. All clubs have their ups and downs. Look where Donny Rovers where a few years ago. Brighton, Cardiff, Hull, Swansea - they were all scrabbling round trying to avoid the Conference not that long ago. Rotherham and Bournemouth were very close to going out of existence, and a number of Phoenix clubs have made their way back into the league or Conference. Pools will rise again, and I'll support them through the lot.

what other choice is there? I don't want to see us struggle, but if there's some more pain to endure then we have to endure it...although I think we will come good again

We've had a lot worse squads than this, and that includes last season. Trying to play constructive passing football will pay dividends in the long run

We are a team in transition, work in progress. I never expected much from this season.

That can't be Snowy anyway. An entire post without a single use of simile or metaphor?

About as likely as an episode of Blackadder that s/he hasn't seen!
