Julien Cherel ??

Something like that anyway

Cheers, who was the Norwegian midfielder who apparently looked awesome in pre season but don't think he started a game after that?

Thomas Tennebo he has a blinder on his debut away at Carlisle. He played more than once though I think, so did Cherel, Tennebo broke his leg badly in a reserve game from memory.

That's the one cheers. Bored so googling some ex players.

The team that Pedersen rejected us for must have been in a shite league seeing as he scored 80 odd in 170 games, always thought it was a top club?

Came accross some players that bring back memories but didn't play for us... Stephan Pounewatchy, Carlo Corrazin, Prince Moncrieff, Gilsbert Bos, Julian Alsop etc etc

I bet Dibble has nightmares about a few of them!

Ps I bet PJ can tell us they were all shite although seem to remember Pounewatchy being top class.

A couple if them were shite Gisbert Bos being one

Pounewatchy was a quality player Carlisle had a good side then. Rory Delap, David Reeves, Darren Edmundson, Matt Jansen to name a few. That team was the Boxing Day game on a ridiculously frozen pitch when Joe Allon played in a pair of high tech squash! They battered us for 90 minutes but only scored the winner in the last few minutes from about 57th corner they won.

I'm sure Fredriksen started a few games I remember his debut at home to Charlton.

The team that beat us 5-1 was a bit earlier 94/95 I reckon the French lad and that season I mentioned was 96/97 because Mark Cooper scored that brilliant free kick against them early season.

He looked a good player Rune Lange {think thats right} in the couple games he played for us before he done his shoulder in.

Dont think he played again after that but had scored bags full of goals in the top divisions where he played

He had a decent record playing for Club Brugge... He was always a nightmare on Footy Manager 2008 though, highest paid player at the club but out injured for ages

I remember a French midfielder called Alain Horace, circa 1996. I just remember him saying "the stadium is small but beautiful" when he signed

I seem to remember Neale Cooper giving a trial to a big French centre back from some lower division team in the Paris suburbs. In fact I'm sure he did, but I can't remember his name. He was black if that helps.

Habib Sissoko?

I think he chose Preston over us and ended up being a proper wrong'un!

Just checked him out he hardly enjoyed a glittering career after;
