Walker attained a "not quite as outstanding" game in comparison to the "out of this world" performances of 4 or 5 of the team. The least performance mark could be described as "good game" for any of them

Very rare so many players play like that together at the same level in the same match

1. That description could also apply to Joe Hart, who is not a League 2 goalkeeper.

2. Was S Flinders a League 2 goalkeeper last season, when he was in League 1?

I would say Flinders was a lower league 1 goalkeeper at best. He isn't championship standard. If he was, he would be playing there by now. He finds himself playing for an average league 2 side because that's around about his level.

Just watched 16 mins of highlights and can't believe how many free shots we had on the edge of the box, must be around 12 and all but one was scuffed. Was the pitch shit? Another day id fancy poole and franks to bury 4 or 5

How do you decide if a keeper is league 1 or championship standard?
They save shots, catch crosses and kick the ball out. Flinders has done this pretty consistently every season he's played for us, I'm sure he wouldnt have a problem playing a couple of divisions higher.

The pitch, in fact the whole day, was a bit of a throwback. Fifteen quid to get in, terraces on three sides, shite pitch with proper muddy goalmouths.

It was like they've created a miniature new ground on one side with a modern interpretation of an old football ground, the narrow corridor behind the terrace was strange.

they will probably save a higher percentage of shots in the championship and not let in as many soft goals.

Grave, Grave, you are being a bit of a nit. So we decide if a keeper is championship level if 'he will probably save a higher percentage of goals in the championship'???? How do we decide if he'll 'probably' do that?

Anyway, yesterday you said Flinders was league 2 standard at best, to-day he's lower league 1. At this rate, he'll be playing in the Premiership by Saturday.

By the way, I forgot, what does 'saving a higher percentage of goals ' mean when it's at home? Does it mean he saves more than he lets in? If so, Flinders already does that in a pretty visible way. If you're watching, of course.........
