Colin Cooper is being linked with a move to Millwall as a replacement for Steve Lomas - how's he been doing for you lot ?

Millwall fans would be keen to have him in charge

Being linked is one thing but I think he needs at least a year or two here. Another thing is he would be under pressure at Millwall whereas he will be given time here. It would,to be in his best interests to leave here until he has built his own squad at least

Cooper would be wise to get some seasons under his belt as a Manager - he has far more chance of doing this at Pools than he would at somewhere like Millwall.

Never understand why people keep saying 'it's too early for him' etc. Loads of managers are now appointed with no managerial experience at all so not sure why it would be too early for someone who has already a manager.

Physios are getting appointed, people like Sherwood appointed as managers etc etc

So far all cooper has done on paper to the outsider is take a relegated side to lower mid table of the division below, his record so far will hardly have chairman from higher league teams beating down his door

The one thing I don't understand is people keep saying James and Baldwin are million pound players, flinders is best keeper in lower leagues, burgess and Dolan are league 1 quality at least and Duckworth is outstanding.

I agree with most of that but then why are we sat with 1 win in 10 or whatever it is?

This league is garbage and the teams at the top are only slightly better than those at the bottom.

I'm sure other teams don't believe they have so much quality in their first eleven so why are we below mid table with such a good team and good manager?
