What the fuck are they all about?

Why are all the women in town wearing them? Usually black under denim skirts. They look fucking ridiculous and unattractive, I thought it was just a cack winter phase but obviously not. Are the leggins supposed to hide the fact that most of the women in this town have tree trunk legs because it doesn't fool anyone..... refyellow
