unbeaten in the last 6 league games, won 3 out of the last 4. This league has no guaranteed strugglers, nobody can be written off. I honestly couldn't say who will go down this season, but I think they will be unlucky and have a relatively high points tally

Northampton might just be hitting a bit of form now... next week's game suddenly looks a lot harder... I'm a bit gutted they didn't actually get off the bottom.... it can't happen to us yet again...surely not?

even Northampton's last 8 league games don't read like a side who are bottom... W2 D3 L3

absolutely nothing at all in this division, except teams who work harder more often than others

Everyone is still taking points off each other at the top as well.

The team to watch at the moment is Mansfield. They haven't won since we gave them a lesson a while back.

When we played Accy earlier in the season I didn't think they were that bad. Just looked short of confidence like we did at one point.

Some describe the league as strange and everyone can beat everyone.

I like to think its just shite. And any half decent team will walk to promotion.

Well, you can make it sound like anything you want, it doesnt matter...............I am looking at it subjectively.

Pools could quite easily get in the play offs, or even go up.

Yet this Pools team is nowhere near the quality of the last team that got promoted. Its not even close.

Just my opinion like.

I think, and a few others do as well... that most of the teams in league 2 we have played so far are actually better the majority of the teams in league one, they play better football. I believe that the 4 who come down will struggle to make an impact in league 2 next season

The way Plymouth kept the ball for example....... would Stevenage or Tranmere or Oldham be able to keep us away from the ball for so long?... I seriously doubt it. For the first time in many years, I actually think the strength of the two divisions is arse about first

And I think I am right in saying it.... Pools struggle to dominate games in league 2... yet we have dominated 4 league 1 opponents this season. I think that says it all, and if we were in league 1 right now with this squad and with Cooper/Hignett in charge we would be in the top 10 of that division in my opinion

I think it's very difficult to say. It's right to say we've played some cracking stuff against 4 league 1 teams this season but three of them have been in the JPT which, rightly or wrongly, people will always question a team's enthusiasm and the FA cup win was against a team that is League 2 in all but name at the moment. Even Sheff Utd are at the wrong end of League 2.

I think in general the energy levels aren't as high in League 2 and you get more time on the ball which might explain why the football looks nicer.

As I say though it's very difficult to tell and as Dibble points out making comparisons are highly subjective.

I havent seen that many games, but those I have, have been very poor in quality. To say its a better standard than league one is something of a joke. A huge massive joke.

Cooper has done a superb job at Pools, and done it much quicker than most thought possible, and the football, and style of football, is now very pleasant on the eye. And the fact its now a very young team, just makes it all the better.

That doesnt have to gloss over how shite league two is though.

Well recently Plymouth, Wimbledon and Dagenham have visited the Vic and played far better football than Notts County and Rotherham who both just lumped it.

disagree strongly with that assertion Dibble. I have watched enough league 1 footy over the past few years to know that I think this season's standards have been higher than the past couple at the Vic

You mean the quality team that wasn't good enough for League 1 the season prior to that?

Perish the thought my saggy sacked friend. There'd be a few more posts from Mr Fetish, that Mr Monkeybutt would be invited to ignore, due to cardiac infarctions.
