I can't get my computer screen on....when I switch it on it says 'Going into Energy Saving Mode' or words along those lines....and then goes onto Standby!!!! :-\
Anyone have any idea how I can sort it out????
And yes I have switched it off and back on!!!!

check the wire going from your computer to the monitor, make sure it's in tightly at both ends (ooer)

Also, the computer is on, isn't it?

I've took all the connections off and reconnected them but still no joy!!!!

How do you know what we're saying if your screen is off?

My screen went into standby yesterday because I dropped the keyboard. Had to hold the power button down on the tower and turn it of and back on before it would work again.

Did you reconnect the cable into the right place? If you have 2 places it could go, try swapping them over.

I know this sounds obvious, have you turned it off and on again

Are you getting any beep sounds when booting up tower it could be graphics card Tom ducked
