Stick a bet on man city to win the league with yaya toure player of the year.

Nailed on, buying fernandinho will mean toure gets forward a little more and gets the credit he deserves.

Easy money-

How much have you staked on this "banker" ?

I think if ever a surprise package did well in the Premier League it will be this year. 4 of the top 6 have changed manager and it feels like everything is up in the air, would have been a perfect year for Arsenal to spend well but they didnt bother.

Quite tempted by an ew bet on Swansea without the big 4 etc at stupid odds (yes Im probably going mad and feel free to mock me) just have a funny feeling its going to be a very unpredictable season, mind you Liverpool with no European distraction could go very well.

My reputation as a sporting sage on this message board ;)

I like Swansea to do well also, just not sure how the Europa league may affect them , look at Newcastle last year
In terms of depth of quality it's the strongest the league has been

I've also got City to win the league, usually hate the premiership but strangely looking forward to it this year :shhh:

I'd be tempted to get on Man Utd while their price is decent, they've probably got one or two big signings to come yet and Van Persie is still by far and away the best striker in the league.

Quite a few firms have got it priced up, Skybet go 6/1 Bale, 13/2 Van Persie, 10/1 Hazard, 12/1 Suarez and Aguero, 16/1 Mata and Rooney, 20/1 Cazorla. Toure is priced up at 33/1. Bale is as low as 5/2 in other places.

10/1 is available for Swansea without Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool.

The season long markets that are available these days are astonishing, you can bet with Stan James on the total number of 0-0 draws, which, if anyone is interested is priced up at 9/10 each of 31 and under and 32 and over.

A better bet would be Newcastle to be relegated.

Really want kinnear to get the Newcastle job and run them into the ground

when the richest clubs vacuum up all the best young players using their extensive (and these days unrestricted) scouting networks and then simply buy any others that have slipped through the net somehow, then all the rest of the clubs have no prospects of ever being anything other than also rans. Their pinnacle of existence is to maybe become the 7th best team or something. What is the point in that, seriously?
ALL of the best players are at 3 or 4 clubs maximum. Nobody else has a single [player who can be classed as one of the best players

So a team in the premier league beating one of these teams becomes like a massive cup shock, even though it's only a league game

All I can say to that is... go and fuck right off

Can't see anyone with a manager named after bottled water doing well.

Not sure about city, though reckon Pelligrini will sort it, but if their is a better midfielder in the premiership than Toure then I'm a chinaman

Its looking like a good call to me. He bosses games. There ain't alot of midfielders who can play a dm and am role but he can. Simply world class. The premiership looks wide open (finally) his year though and any team from 6 can win it. I'd like spurs to to piss all the fake fans in this town off. Saying that you would see spurs shits regularly next year if they did.

I'd like arsenal to do it.
Thing about Toure he is scoring goals this year that will make people take notice, there is a difference between deserving to win it and actually winning it like

Should have been right, he has had a more impressive season than Suarez IMO , shame the football writers don't know as much as me , ;)

He had a great start a rest about Christmas then came to life again recently.,

He's a monster when he's on form, as close to Vieira as your going to get.

Added goals to his game too

Silvas best position is obviously number 10, but he seems to rarely get player their, not sure the manager trusts him, he seems to prefer nasri, Milner or navas.

I like silva but he hasn't been consistent for 2 years
