Are rubbish.

Every year or so I buy one, only to be disappointed. It's been ten minutes since I polished a footlong off and I'm still starving. Happens every time.

I've always had a ridiculous appetite but remained quite lean until a couple of years ago.

I used to say that I was a fat bastard trapped in a thin person's body.

My metabolism has altered now though, and I've had to cut right down on the unhealthy stuff these days.

It has the same amount of salt in it as about 15 bags of crisps, I think I will pass.

Also about £5 for a sarnie I would rather make my own, cheaper and you know whats in it. A lad I work with buys sandwiches from Tescos every day and the meat in them and salad is shocking.

First dodgy eastern European horses in burgers and now dead Anglo-Italian clowns in your sandwiches no wonder you're looking for alternatives Mr Yubep. Hope you have told the papers about this.

Does your work not have a kitchen or canteen? Buy a baguette from THE Asda and some meat and salad go back to work and eat it. Probably take you tops about 5 minutes more.

Although I know you love the Morrisons Salad large for a small trick.

I think I can help you out here boys, a freshly made sandwich on fresh plait rolls, white or brown and filled with fresh salad and roasted on the premises meat, only 2.29, no salt, no mayo, unless you want it of course and if you want a meal deal, add can and crisps for 2.99 :o :o

Bebes used to do sarnies in brinky didn't they. Charlie Howells used to love a cheese savoury had one every day. We used to hide from him if we nicked off physics.

I think Yubep's misspelling of calorie wasn't quite bad enough for you to make the link with Charlie Cairoli, probably only you and me knew what you were talking about!!

Bread is bad, honey and mustard pasta from tesco is the lunchtime snack of choice. I'm doing 5000 calories a day like, have one of them at 12, 3 and 6!

Bebes was very good back in my college days, also there was one on Oxford road, the name escapes me, it's close to Caledonian road. Think it is different owners these days though.

My sarnie of choice in the youthy between lessons was a large bun and a bag of beef seabrooks. Destroy the crisps until they were a bag of crumbs then pour them in the bun, was top notch!

Lunchtime snack of choice when I was at school was a harvest loaf from Lister Street bakery, torn in half with your mate and then gutted and filled with a half lot from the chippie on the corner of Stockton Road. Starch overload like, but somehow we survived. :-D
