Bloody horrible stuff.. had a glass earlier for my brothers graduation. Don't understand how some people in London drink that all the time.

Depends what it is, I like Dom Perignon 2002 and Veuve La Grande Dame. Can't stand some of the pricier stuff like Louis Roederer.

Dibble loves it but only Krug and really old Dom Perignon.

I only ever drink it when I'm out, wouldn't buy it to drink at home. Prefer a nice bottle of wine for that.

I've been to a couple of very posh dos where some really expensive stuff was on offer and I find it disgusting. To me it tastes like someone has left a half drunk bottle of Lambrini open for a week, then poured really cheap shitty lemonade into it. I really don't see the appeal.

Unless we're offered money for Collins (can't see it), or someone wants him on loan (can't see it) that won't be till July next year when his contract runs out. Least you can save up for the bottle

We once held a blind taste test at the pub with a premium Cava and some mid-range champagnes. The Cava, at half the cost, pissed it.
And the guinea pigs were all French.

Champagne was invented by an English monk in France using a method first used here. Champagne, Cava, Prossecco are virtually the same except to be called 'Champagne' it has to come from that region.

Was this bloke there? I use him to hunt for truffles- a truly overpriced delicacy if ever there was one.

What that it was invented by an English Monk? no because I'm not really sure about that... or were you just using my little fact as a platform to exhibit your own bit of knowledge?...go on you were, weren't you

No I was on about that it has to come from Champagne to be called so. I think every man and his dog knows that, why I sighted some other products that have to be from geographical locations to be called them.

Although Stilton cheese isnt actually made in Stilton which is about 8 miles from my house.

I asked my dog about that and he said, 'zhou ma? Champagne?? Wo bu zhi da.'

Clearly not every man's dog knows about this so please avoid sweeping statements or teach my dog French and English.
