Anybody else think there's more to this than them carrying 'niggles' or the management observing the youngsters and fringe players?

Well at least Cooper will realise that our youngsters are not that good.

The quicker Howard's off the wage bill the better....Might start phoning around clubs myself but I don't think even the Manor club would sign him

I know why Flinders hasn't played.

I can guess the reason Howard hasn't played.

But I can't say that either of them not playing in friendlies or the fact Cooper might want to take a look at some of our younger players is anything thats going to make me get wound up or lose any sleep.

Wahey!!! clappp clappp clappp

The season is almost on top of us and the conspiracy theories start almost before the transfer rumours did.

Maybe, during that intense period of pre-season physical testing, there was a few muscle strains or tight tendons/hamstrings??

What does it say on FIFA2013?? They'll know.

You can fook right off with your rational thoughts.

There is nowt like a good crackpot theory to help a Saturday along. The reasons are far more sinister but I can't tell anyone as Ken now has a laser pointed at my house.

It's coincidence that the only 2 players that who have been linked most with other clubs have tight muscles??? Howard was apparently training flat out yesterday?

If Howard trained flat out yesterday (I assume you saw this first hand) then I suspect he would be stiff today, I'm younger than him and I would be.

Nobody said Flinders was stiff but Spender simply gave a sensible reason he could be missing from a friendly game. It could also be that Cooper has seen Flinders a few times and wants to satisfy himself he has adequate cover or a number of other reasons.

If both are on their way I won't lose any sleep but I'd guess neither player needs any practice (well ok Howard could do with some at being arsed) or introduction to the new management team.

the team we played said rafferty played a blinder.

Maybe he deserves a chance to be no.1 if flinders goes?

I have no problem with that, we all wanna see youth given a chance right?

Yes replacinga championship bound keeper with a northern league reserve can only make us stronger
Nothing against rafterty but anyone who can tell our team is getting progressively weaker is deluded !

Are you trying to sneak a sensible post into this thread?

If I didn't know you understood how the board worked better than me I'd ban you for that.

Rafferty has been out of the limelight ever since he scored that number one single years ago. He really needs to up his game in my opinion

Seems pretty certain Howard and Flinders will be away before the start of the season. The club don't want to risk either of them getting injured to scupper their moves. You can't blame them!

Maybe he could take Collins with him and they could work in tandem. And Monkhouse could go along to collect the money. It's called paying them what they are worth for what they are good for.

Played well yesterday couple of good saves. It pre season new manager looking at different possibilities. If Flinders is on his way out to a team in the championship then maybe Cooper is saying to himself well if it falls through he's obviously good enough for division 4
