i suspect mr mad was refering to the shear scale of the profit
£4800 a min or £288000 an hour or £1152000 a day

so reduce prices and only make 25% of the profit and make millions of shoppers happy
alternatively shop elsewhere

we rarely shop at tesco or any other supermarket, partly because the nearest one is 9 miles away ,thats devon miles mind, probs about a half hour run, but mainly out of protest.the supermarkets are a cartel, same offers same prices just variations on a theme.
shop at your local butchers, bakers, farmers if you can find one.we get all our veg from a local farm and it actually tastes of proper veg liek when I was a kid, mind unlike tesco veg it actually goes off after a while! no G.M. food there though!

I was mate and of course a company is there to make a profit but ask the farmers etc who they get produce from how much they get paid for goods then equate Tesco's profits and try justifying that.

Plus those who work for them are on a pittence of a wage,a mate works in the stores and he sweats blood.

its a funny old world and no mistake.

about a third of the world is going without food, loads of folk is starving to death in that bit, and yet in our bit, folk is fat as fook and chucking food in the bin on a regular basis. some folk is about 40 clem.

and we can also pipe oil all over the bloody planet but we cant pipe water to folks what isnt having a fookin drink in days. stpid

In America there was serious talk of having three taps in the kitchen. Hot, cold and Coca-Cola.

I always have a good chuckle at the way China deals with America. There's a 180 BILLION dollar trade deficit and America is shitting itself to the point where it's taking China to the WTO for refusing to sell it's books, films, music, cack fast food etc, which in reality are available on every corner, but they're bootlegged and consequently no one in America gets a penny for it and the entrepreneurial coolie gets to eat.

The official line is, well no-one can read or speak English so there's no point in sending us your rubbish but if you REALLY want us to buy something, we'll have 50 of them serious strike aircraft we keep seeing over Iraq. Okay?? Purchase Order ready and signed......

Oh aye they're just convinced that everyone wants to see Hollywood films and listen to Christine Aguillera and drink Coke.

To the Chinese, Hollywood is just some jews talking unintelligibly, Christine Aguillera is a slut and they'd rather drink tea than Coke.

In actual fact China would only buy ONE strike aircraft but they'd have 150 within three months.
