I am sure it is done out of ignorance but Hope's opening paragraph about trying to get the fame of 'Anne Frank', even referring to the attic she was forced to stay in is not in good taste.

Really not a subject you should be light hearted or make blasie comparisons about.....like I say I am sure he is a good bloke and didn't mean anything bad by it but he should think more before hewrites stuff like that and his editor should have given him a tap on the shoulder also

It's part of the popular culture of the city, so by its nature becomes taken for granted and dumbed down to 'the diary' .... but I don't see disrespect.

To honest I think the official site are missing a trick here.

They should be making Jonathan Franks stay in the hotel attic and instead of Colin Cooper he should do the daily diary update.

Actually that probably would be quite offensive.
