On the Daily Compo website. I know its a matter of opinion but I would have had Puskas in instead of Messi at this current time and probably Muller in for Pele.

I thought Fat Ronaldo would have made it... or even Ritchie.

messi's goalscoring record over the past 5 years is probably the most impressive in the history of the entire game, universe, space, galaxy etc

he deserves to be in for that alone.

Just reading that and seeing Cruyfs turn, im still amazed its not used/trained more often, Stepho used to do it about 10 times a game in the middle of the park and nobody ever read it, used to always raise a smile and a laugh.

I agree that Messi is one of the greatest to play the game. I would play three up front of him, Puskas and Muller, with Eusebio on the bench I wouldnt put Pele in my squad.

how many times did you see Puskas play?

How much footage of him have you seen?

I'd have Fat Ronaldo as the first name on the sheet.

I didnt, same as I havent seen Maradonna, Pele, Eusebio, Muller, De Stefano or Fontaine.

But 84 goals in 85 International matches and at a time when England where undefeatbed (i think) at Wembley his Hungary side thrashed us, and he played from Real Madrid when they won everything.

If as Yubep says records stands up for themselves than him and Muller should be in for a shout. I have only seem Messi play about 10-15 games but you know he is class.

Your such a pedantic bugger arnt you.

Just to add;

Puskas - 592 goals in 610 games (0.97 goals a game)
Muller - 556 in 618 (0.89)
Messi - 250 in 328 games (0.76)
Di Stéfano - 400 in 552 (0.72)

Yeah Puskas is shit isnt he ADG

What a ridiculous thing to say. I dont recall ever suggesting such a thing.

You need to calm down young man.

In page one of my Hartlepool Coaching Manual it states anyone under 5'10 can't be a professional footballer

No room for Pele on Compo's bench. That is the sort of strength in depth we need in our squad and it is good that he has shown no compassion for the erectile dysfunction exploiter. Sort it out IOR! Cooper out, Compo in.

Zidane did not lead his country to glory at France ’98 and Euro 2000. Didier Deschamps did.
Do your homework, Mr Adam Crafton.
