What is it with the media in this country, gets a bit hot in parts of the US and it's on our news....it gets a lot hotter in othet parts of the world that oddly we hear bugger all about........ storm in US, small loss of life, all over our news.... storm in Bangladesh, 70,000 killed and merits a 10 second passing reference a week later. Funny old world. Rant over.

Actually death valley is the hottest part of the world usually, so it doesn`t get hotter in other parts of the world, oddly!

I'll stick with NASA and their figures for the lut desert in Iran...... and you miss the main point.

The initial thread was pointless. Snowy and monkeybutt then got into a disagreement over some point and it went from pointless to totally irrelevant.

I was making a perfectly valid point about how the media in this country give us wall to wall coverage of weather events in the states. Three die in America in bad weather, and it's all over the telly, 70,000 die in floods in Bsngladesh.... nowt....... and if you think that's totally irrelevant, I'm sorry for you.
